子立方无爪图的单射边色数至多为6

设$G$是一个图. 图$G$的一个单射边染色是指图$G$的一个边染色, 使得距离为$2$的两条边或者在同一个三角形中的两条边染不同的颜色. 图$G$的单射边色数是指图$G$的任意单射边染色所需要的最少颜色数. 关于单射边色数有一个猜想: 任意一个子立方图的单射边色数都不超过$6$. 在本文中, 我们证明了这个猜想对子立方无爪图是成立的, 并且给出图例说明上界$6$是紧的. 同时, 我们的证明隐含了求解这类图不超过$6$种颜色的单射边染色方案的一个线性时间算法.

Corrigendum to “New algebraic properties of an amalgamated algebra along an ideal”

At some point, after publication, we realized that Proposition 4.1(2) and Theorem 4.4 in [2 D’Anna, M., Finocchiaro, C. A., Fontana, M. (2016). New algebraic properties of an amalgamated algebra along an ideal. Commun. Algebra 44(5):1836–1851.[Taylor & Francis Online], [Web of Science ®] , [Google Scholar]] hold under the assumption (not explicitly declared) that B = f(A)+J. Furthermore, we provide here the exact value for the embedding dimension of A?^fJ, also when B≠f(A)+J, under the hypothesis that J is finitely generated as an ideal of the ring f(A)+J.     

Gorenstein injective envelopes and covers over two sided noetherian rings

We prove that the class of Gorenstein injective modules is both enveloping and covering over a two sided noetherian ring such that the character modules of Gorenstein injective modules are Gorenstein flat. In the second part of the paper we consider the connection between the Gorenstein injective modules and the strongly cotorsion modules. We prove that when the ring R is commutative noetherian of finite Krull dimension, the class of Gorenstein injective modules coincides with that of strongly cotorsion modules if and only if the ring R is in fact Gorenstein.

Relative T -Injective Modules and Relative T -Flat Modules

Let T be a Wakamatsu tilting module. A module M is called (n, T)-copure injective (resp. (n, T)-copure flat) if ɛ _T ¹ (N, M) = 0 (resp. Γ₁ ^T (N, M) = 0) for any module N with T-injective dimension at most n (see Definition 2.2). In this paper, it is shown that M is (n, T)-copure injective if and only if M is the kernel of an I _n (T)-precover f: A → B with A ∈ Prod T. Also, some results on Prod T-syzygies are presented. For instance, it is shown that every nth Prod T-syzygy of every module, generated by T, is (n, T)-copure injective.     

Totally acyclic complexes over noetherian schemes

We define a notion of total acyclicity for complexes of flat quasi-coherent sheaves on a semi-separated noetherian scheme, and study these complexes using the pure derived category of flat quasi-coherent sheaves. We prove that a scheme is Gorenstein if and only if every acyclic complex of flat quasi-coherent sheaves is totally acyclic. Our formalism also removes the need for a dualising complex in several known results for rings, including Jørgensen's proof of the existence of Gorenstein projective precovers.

On the Cayley-Bacharach Property

The Cayley-Bacharach Property (CBP), which has been classically stated as a property of a finite set of points in an affine or projective space, is extended to arbitrary 0-dimensional affine algebras over arbitrary base fields. We present characterizations and explicit algorithms for checking the CBP directly, via the canonical module, and in combination with the property of being a locally Gorenstein ring. Moreover, we characterize strict Gorenstein rings by the CBP and the symmetry of their affine Hilbert function, as well as by the strict CBP and the last difference of their affine Hilbert function.
