A statistical model for global optimization by means of select and clone

A statistical model tor giobai optimization is constructed generalizing some properties ofthe Wiener process to the multidimensional case. A new approach, which is similar to the Branch and Bound approach, is proposed to the construction of algorithms based on statistical models. A two dimensional version of the algorithm is implemented, and test results are presented     

Line intensities of acetylene: New measurements in the 1.5-μm spectral region and global modelling in the ΔP=10 series

Using the Fourier transform spectra of the acetylene molecule recorded near 1.5-μm, the intensities of 111 lines belonging to seven hot bands of the main isotopologue ¹²C₂H₂ have been retrieved by means of a multispectrum fitting procedure. Considering the density of lines in the spectra, and the fact that the measured bands are the weakest observed, the accuracy of the measurements is around 10%. At first stage, an empirical treatment of these data has been performed, leading to the vibrational transition dipole moment squared and some Herman–Wallis coefficients. Then the measured line intensities of this work and collected ones from the literature have been treated simultaneously within the framework of the effective operator approach.     

Global stability of humoral immunity virus dynamics models with nonlinear infection rate and removal

In this paper, we investigate the dynamical behavior of two nonlinear models for viral infection with humoral immune response. The first model contains four compartments; uninfected target cells, actively infected cells, free virus particles and B cells. The intrinsic growth rate of uninfected cells, incidence rate of infection, removal rate of infected cells, production rate of viruses, neutralization rate of viruses, activation rate of B cells and removal rate of B cells are given by more general nonlinear functions. The second model is a modification of the first one by including an eclipse stage of infected cells. We assume that the latent-to-active conversion rate is also given by a more general nonlinear function. For each model we derive two threshold parameters and establish a set of conditions on the general functions which are sufficient to determine the global dynamics of the models. By using suitable Lyapunov functions and LaSalle’s invariance principle, we prove the global asymptotic stability of the all equilibria of the models. We perform some numerical simulations for the models with specific forms of the general functions and show that the numerical results are consistent with the theoretical results.     

Trends in the monitoring of legacy and emerging organic pollutants in protected areas

Protected Areas (PAs) are locations for conservation, internationally recognized for their natural, ecological, and/or cultural values. Human presence in PAs is generally limited to minimal or banned exploitation of natural resources. However, different threats to PAs are evident as a result of short and long-range transport of organic pollutants of legacy and emerging concern. There has been a shift of interest in legacy pollutants such as persistent organic pollutants (POPs) to emerging compounds, resulting in a need for improved monitoring strategies in PAs. Here, we highlight the main advances in environmental analytical chemistry for legacy and emerging pollution monitoring in PAs. Trends in sampling, sample preparation and instrumental determination of multiclass organic pollutants in biotic and abiotic matrices are presented and discussed. Here, we considered the most relevant and recent literature regarding organic pollutants in PAs from terrestrial to aquatic landscapes collected within 2015 to the present time frame.     

The Existence and Global $p$-Exponential Stability of Periodic Solution for Stochastic BAM Neural Networks with Delays

In this paper, we consider a class of stochastic BAM neural networks with delays. By establishing new integral inequalities and using the properties of spectral radius of nonnegative matrix, some sufficient conditions for the existence and global $p$-exponential stability of periodic solution for stochastic BAM neural networks with delays are given. An example is provided to show the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

斑图是在空间或时间上具有某种规律性的非均匀宏观结构,普遍存在于自然界,事实上大多数电化学体系在适当参数范围内也可以形成各种电化学斑图。本文介绍了电化学斑图中空间耦合的三种方式,重点总结了在不同机理作用下可能出现的斑图种类,并简述了电化学斑图模拟方面的发展。     

Influence of Fe2O3 and V2O5 on Crystalline Structure of Mg-Al Spinel Synthesized by Waste Aluminum Slag

Mg-Al spinel is synthesized by using industrial waste-residue and basic magnesium carbonate in the aluminum factory as the main raw materials. The influence of V2O5 and Fe2O3 mineralizers on the structure, cell parameters and microscopic morphology of synthesized Mg-Al spinel has been discussed. The Mg-Al spinel is characterized by using XRD, SEM and relevant analytical software, such as Philips plus, Rietveld quantification and so on. The experimental results show that certain amounts of V2O5 and Fe2O3 are beneficial to the formation of Mg-Al spinel, and the optimum addition of V2O5 and Fe2O3 is respectively 2wt% and 3wt%. V2O5 has few effects on cell parameters of Mg-Al spinel; but Fe2O3 can form solid solution with Mg-Al spinel in which Mg-Fe spinel can also dissolve to form continuous solid solution. Therefore, with the increase of Fe2O3 content, the cell parameters of Mg-Al approximately present linear increase.     

某矿山金矿石样品加工及分析方法优化研究

某矿山金矿石样品中存在中粗颗粒金,颗粒金的存在将对分析样品的均匀性和代表性产生影响。通过棒磨、密封粉碎及盘磨等方式研究,选择出最优的样品加工方式,同时通过分析方法比对,选择出最优的样品分析方法。实验确定金矿石采用圆盘细碎机加工至样品粒度不大于0.074 mm,混匀后即获得分析试样。分析试样经王水消解后采用泡沫吸附进行富集,火焰原子吸收光谱法测定。通过研究,取得最优的金矿样品加工和分析方案,为某矿山提供了高品质的金储量评估数据。
