In this paper, we first prove that the local time associated with symmetric -stable processes is of bounded -variation for any partly based on Barlow’s estimation of the modulus of the local time of such processes. The fact that the local time is of bounded -variation for any enables us to define the integral of the local time as a Young integral for less smooth functions being of bounded -variation with . When , Young’s integration theory is no longer applicable. However, rough path theory is useful in this case. Let I be a monomial ideal in the polynomial ring S generated by elements of degree at most d. In this paper, it is shown that, if the i-th syzygy of I has no elements of degrees j,…,j+(d?1) (where j≥i+d), then (i+1)-th syzygy of I does not have any element of degree j+d. Then we give several applications of this result, including an alternative proof for Green–Lazarsfeld index of the edge ideals of graphs as well as an alternative proof for Fröberg’s theorem on classification of square-free monomial ideals generated in degree 2 with linear resolution. We prove Hochster’s small maximal Cohen–Macaulay conjecture for three-dimensional complete F-pure rings. We deduce this from a more general criterion, and show that only a weakening of the notion of F-purity is needed, to wit, being weakly F-split. We study the functorial properties of Bridgeland’s Hall algebras. Specifically, let 𝒜 and ? be two categories satisfying certain conditions for the definitions of Bridgeland’s Hall algebras, and let F:𝒜→? be a fully faithful exact functor, which preserves projectives, then F induces an embedding of algebras from the Bridgeland’s Hall algebra of 𝒜 to the one of ?. In addition, let A be a finite-dimensional algebra over a finite field and B some special quotient algebra of A, then the Bridgeland’s Hall algebra of B is the quotient algebra of the one of A. In this paper we generalize a partial integrodifferential equation satisfied by the finite time ruin probability in the classical Poisson risk model. The generalization also includes the bivariate distribution function of the time of and the deficit at ruin. We solve the partial integrodifferential equation by Laplace transforms with the help of Lagrange’s implicit function theorem. The assumption of mixed Erlang claim sizes is then shown to result in tractable computational formulas for the finite time ruin probability as well as the bivariate distribution function of the time of and the deficit at ruin. If we use Littlewood-Paley decomposition, there is no pseudo-orthogonality for Ho¨rmander symbol operators OpS m 0 , 0 , which is different to the case S m ρ,δ (0 ≤δ < ρ≤ 1). In this paper, we use a special numerical algorithm based on wavelets to study the L p continuity of non infinite smooth operators OpS m 0 , 0 ; in fact, we apply first special wavelets to symbol to get special basic operators, then we regroup all the special basic operators at given scale and prove that such scale operator’s continuity decreases very fast, we sum such scale operators and a symbol operator can be approached by very good compact operators. By correlation of basic operators, we get very exact pseudo-orthogonality and also L 2 → L 2 continuity for scale operators. By considering the influence region of scale operator, we get H 1 (= F 0 , 2 1 ) → L 1 continuity and L ∞→ BMO continuity. By interpolation theorem, we get also L p (= F 0 , 2 p ) → L p continuity for 1 < p < ∞ . Our results are sharp for F 0 , 2 p → L p continuity when 1 ≤ p ≤ 2, that is to say, we find out the exact order of derivations for which the symbols can ensure the resulting operators to be bounded on these spaces. 相似文献
