Embedding partial Steiner triple systems so that their automorphisms extend

It is shown that there is a function g on the natural numbers such that a partial Steiner triple system U on u points can be embedded in a Steiner triple system V on ν points, in such a way that all automorphisms of U can be extended to V, for every admissible ν satisfying ν > g(u). New characterizations of Hajlasz-Sobolev spaces on metric spaces

This paper introduces the fractional Sobolev spaces on spaces of homogeneous type,includingmetric spaces and fractals. These Sobolev spaces include the well-known Hajfasz-Sobolev spaces as specialmodels.The author establishes varions chaaracterizations of(sharp)maximal functions for these spaces.Asapplications,the author identifies the fractional Sobolev spaces with some Lipscitz-type spaces.Moreover;some embedding theorems are also given.

The Module Structure Theorem for Sobolev Spaces on Open Manifolds

We prove a general embedding theorem for Sobolev spaces on open manifolds of bounded geometry and infer from this the module structure theorem. Thereafter we apply this to weighted Sobolev spaces.     

Ultrametric spaces and related Hilbert spaces

We present simple proofs of the possibility of embedding ultrametric spaces in Hilbert spaces. The main part of the paper deals with ultrametric spaces that we call totally infinite spaces. Related Hilbert spaces, automorphisms of totally infinite spaces, and the corresponding linear operators are considered. ContributionsTriangular embeddings of Kn−Km with unboundedly large m

The author has proposed methods of constructing index 2 and 3 current graphs generating triangular embeddings of graphs K_n−K_m with unboundedly large m (as n increases). As a result, triangular embeddings of graphs of many families of graphs K_n−K_m with unboundedly large m were constructed. The paper gives a survey of these results and a short explanation of the methods.     

Constant Q-curvature metrics in arbitrary dimension

Working in a given conformal class, we prove existence of constant Q-curvature metrics on compact manifolds of arbitrary dimension under generic assumptions. The problem is equivalent to solving a nth-order non-linear elliptic differential (or integral) equation with variational structure, where n is the dimension of the manifold. Since the corresponding Euler functional is in general unbounded from above and below, we use critical point theory, jointly with a compactness result for the above equation.     

Polynomial expansion of basis sets: Alternatives to fully optimized exponents

Alternatives based on polynomial expansions of gaussian basis set exponents are introduced and evaluated. The formulas presented here outperform methods based upon the even-tempered formula or combinations of it. They closely match the performance of other methods based upon larger polynomial expansions of the logarithm of the exponents using the same or one less parameter per orbital angular symmetry.     

On the pagenumber of trivalent Cayley graphs

Book embedding of graphs is one of the graph layout problem. It is useful for the multiprocessor network layout or the fault-tolerant processor arrays. We show that the trivalent Cayley graphs proposed by Vadapalli and Srimani can be embedded in five pages, and show some additional results on cube-connected cycles.
