functions relative to their supremum. In this paper, numerous properties of their supremizers are given, i.e., of such satisfying lim . For instance, if an upper bounded and inner γ-convex function, which is defined on a convex and bounded subset D of some inner product space, has supremizers, then there exists a supremizer lying on the boundary of D relative to aff D or at a γ-extreme point of D, and if D is open relative to aff D or if dim D ≤ 2 then there is certainly a supremizer at a γ-extreme point of D. Another example is: if D is an affine set and is inner γ-convex and bounded above, then for all , and if 2 ≤ dim D < ∞ then each is a supremizer of f.

In this article, necessary conditions of Fritz John type for weak efficient solutions of a nonsmooth vector equilibrium problem involving equilibrium constraints (VEPEC) in terms of the Clarke subdifferentials are established. Under constraint qualifications which are suitable for (VEPEC), necessary conditions of Kuhn-Tucker type for efficiency are derived. Under assumptions on generalized convexity of data, sufficient conditions for efficiency are developed. In this paper, we obtain necessary and sufficient second order optimality conditions for multiobjective problems using second order directional derivatives. We propose the notion of second order KT-pseudoinvex problems and we prove that this class of problems has the following property: a problem is second order KT-pseudoinvex if and only if all its points that satisfy the second order necessary optimality condition are weakly efficient. We further study averaged and firmly nonexpansive mappings in the setting of geodesic spaces with a main focus on the asymptotic behavior of their Picard iterates. We use methods of proof mining to obtain an explicit quantitative version of a generalization to geodesic spaces of a result on the asymptotic behavior of Picard iterates for firmly nonexpansive mappings proved by Reich and Shafrir. From this result we obtain effective uniform bounds on the asymptotic regularity for firmly nonexpansive mappings. In this article, we consider basic hypergeometric functions introduced by Heine. We study the mapping properties of certain ratios of basic hypergeometric functions having shifted parameters and show that they map the domains of analyticity onto domains convex in the direction of the imaginary axis. In order to investigate these mapping properties, some useful identities are obtained in terms of basic hypergeometric functions.
