The automorphism group of Payne derived generalized quadrangles

We solve a long-standing open problem by proving that the automorphism group of any thick Payne derived generalized quadrangle with ambient quadrangle S a thick generalized quadrangle of order s, s?5 and odd, with a center of symmetry, is induced by the automorphism group of S.     

Ultra <Emphasis Type="Italic">LI</Emphasis>-ideals in lattice implication algebras and <Emphasis Type="Italic">MTL</Emphasis>-algebras

A mistake concerning the ultra LI-ideal of a lattice implication algebra is pointed out, and some new sufficient and necessary conditions for an LI-ideal to be an ultra LI-ideal are given. Moreover, the notion of an LI-ideal is extended to MTL-algebras, the notions of a (prime, ultra, obstinate, Boolean) LI-ideal and an ILI-ideal of an MTL-algebra are introduced, some important examples are given, and the following notions are proved to be equivalent in MTL-algebra: (1) prime proper LI-ideal and Boolean LI-ideal, (2) prime proper LI-ideal and ILI-ideal, (3) proper obstinate LI-ideal, (4) ultra LI-ideal. Several parameters of generalized Mycielskians

The generalized Mycielskians (also known as cones over graphs) are the natural generalization of the Mycielski graphs (which were first introduced by Mycielski in 1955). Given a graph G and any integer m?0, one can transform G into a new graph μ_m(G), the generalized Mycielskian of G. This paper investigates circular clique number, total domination number, open packing number, fractional open packing number, vertex cover number, determinant, spectrum, and biclique partition number of μ_m(G).     

Skew Models II

If g and G are the pdf and the cdf of a distribution symmetric around 0 then the pdf 2g(u)G(λ u) is said to define a skew distribution. In this paper, we provide a mathematical treatment of the skew distributions when g and G are taken to come from one of Pearson type II, Pearson type VII or the generalized t distribution.      

Decision methods for linearly ordered Heyting algebras

The decision problem for positively quantified formulae in the theory of linearly ordered Heyting algebras is known, as a special case of work of Kreisel, to be solvable; a simple solution is here presented, inspired by related ideas in Gödel-Dummett logic.     

Dual frames in connected with generalized sampling in shift-invariant spaces

The aim of this article is to derive stable generalized sampling in a shift-invariant space by using some special dual frames in L²(0,1). These sampling formulas involve samples of filtered versions of the functions in the shift-invariant space. The involved samples are expressed as the frame coefficients of an appropriate function in L²(0,1) with respect to some particular frame in L²(0,1). Since any shift-invariant space with stable generator is the image of L²(0,1) by means of a bounded invertible operator, our generalized sampling is derived from some dual frame expansions in L²(0,1).     

关于广义四元数代数上矩阵的迹的一个等式

众所周知,相似矩阵的迹相等对于非交换代数和环上的矩阵不一定成立,有趣的问题是给定一个条件使得相似矩阵的迹相等对于非交换代数或非交换环上的矩阵成立。本文对于特征不是2的任意域F上定义的广义四元数代数上的两个矩阵A和B,给出如果A和B相似并且它们的主对角线上的元素在F中,那么它们的迹相等。
