We obtain new properties of general d-dimensional lattice ferromagnetic spin systems with nearest neighbor interactions in the high-temperature region (1). Each model is characterized by a single-site a priori spin distribution, taken to be even. We state our results in terms of the parameter =s

We show that for >0, small, there exists a bound state with mass below the two-particle threshold. The existence of the bound state has implications for the decay of correlations, i.e., the 4-point functions decay at a slower rate than twice that of the 2-point function. These results are obtained using a lattice version of the Bethe–Salpeter equation. The existence results generalize to N-component models with rotationally invariant a priori spin distributions. 相似文献

The propagation of a non-monochromatic (polychromatic) TEM00 Gaussian beam in vacuum, its passage through a thin plate and its transformation by a thin lens are studied in the case of a non-dispersive laser resonator. The basic assumptions of the model are as follows: optical fields are stationary and plane-polarized, the paraxial wave equation is valid, an equivalent non-dispersive hemiconfocal resonator represents the lasing medium and its stable resonator, the laser emits in a single mode. It is also assumed that the plate and the lens have large transverse dimensions. Mathematical expressions, for beam radius, divergence, radius of curvature and beam parameter product, are obtained. A beam quality factor for polychromatic Gaussian beams is defined and its value calculated in each case of interest. We report a new technique to suppress the low-spatial-frequency rings and ripples (LSFRs) of laser near-field intensity distribution in the spatial filter (SF) used in ICF laser drivers. This technique employs a spatial filter with Gaussian transmission, instead of the hard-edged pinhole, at the confocal plane of a Newtonian telescope. The resulting beam has a super-Gaussian transverse intensity profile without the LSFRs that certainly appear when a hard-pinhole was used as a filter in the conventional technique. 相似文献

The evolution of gradient force pattern induced by an annular phase distribution plate is numerically investigated in this paper. The phase plate, which may alter the wavefront phase of incident Gaussian beam with tunable topological charge, consists of two concentric portions, one center circle portion and one annular portion. Numerical simulations show that the proposed plate can induce the tunable gradient force on the particles in the focal region. By adjusting the geometrical parameters or changing the topological charge of the phase-shifting plate, some novel trap patterns may occur, such as triangle shape trap, quadrangle shape trap, pentagon shape trap, hexagon shape trap, and the shapes of optical traps change very considerably. Therefore, the phase plate may be very advantageous for constructing tunable optical traps. The method is more versatile in that it allows precise control of the parameters and has the possibility of generating specific patterns of optical vortices. Influence of the comatic aberration of an apertured lens on the focused polychromatic Gaussian beams
The focusing of polychromatic Gaussian beams by an apertured lens with comatic aberration is investigated in this paper. We study the influence of the comatic aberration and truncation parameter on the intensity distribution at the focal plane, and singularities and spectral behavior near the focal plane in detail. The simulation results show that the maximum intensity at the focal plane will shift and split with the gradual increment of comatic aberration. We also find that the decrease of truncation parameter will counteract the influence of comatic aberration, which leads to the intensity variation. Furthermore, the singularity transformation and spectral anomalies are discussed. It is found that with the increment of comatic aberration, some singularities are split into several new singularities, and by combining some of these new singularities with other singularities near the focal plane, they vanish or form new singularities with the continuing increase of comatic aberration. The decreasing value of truncation parameter will cause similar phenomena. 相似文献

In this paper, the focal shift of hollow Gaussian beams (HGBs) passing through a thin lens is investigated in detail. An analytic expression of the location of the axial maximum intensity for the HGBs is derived. It is found that, both the relative focal shift and the relative location of the axial maximal intensity of the HGBs is strongly affected by the ratio α (where α=s/f, here s is the axial distance from the input plane to the lens plane and f is the focus length of the lens), and it is also greatly affected by the changes of both the effective Fresnel number Nw and the order n of HGBs. 相似文献

Starting from the propagation law of partially coherent light, the focusing properties of twisted Gaussian Schell-model (TGSM) beams passing through an optical system consisting of an aperture lens or through a system consisting of a separated aperture and lens are studied. The propagation expressions for focused TGSM beams have been derived. Our main attention is focused on the effect of the coherence of partially coherent light, the twist parameter and the distance between the aperture and lens on the focusing properties of TGSM beams. The radiation force of highly focused Bessel–Gaussian beams (BGBs) on a dielectric sphere in the Rayleigh scattering regime is theoretically investigated. Numerical results demonstrate that the focused BGBs can be used to trap and manipulate the particles with the refractive index lower than that of the ambient. The radiation force caused by the low-order focused BGBs has been studied under different input parameters and different focus lengths of thin lens.
