Simplicial normalization in the entire cyclic cohomology of Banach algebras

We show that the entire cyclic cohomology of Banach algebras defined by Connes has the simplicial normalization property. A key tool in the proof is the notion and properties of supertraces on the Cuntz algebraQ A. Locally conformally Hermitian-flat manifolds

We introduce the notion of a locally conformally Hermitian-flat manifold and derive a necessary and sufficient condition for a Hermitian manifold to be locally conformally Hermitian-flat. In addition, we construct a family of examples.

On extensions of the domain invariance theorem

If f maps continuously a compact subset X of Rⁿ into Rⁿ and x is a point whose distance from the boundary ∂X is greater than double diameter of the fibres of the points in f(∂X) then f(x) is in the interior of f(X). This theorem extends some results due to Borsuk and Sitnikov.     

Galilean-Covariant Clifford Algebras in the Phase-Space Representation

We apply the Galilean covariant formulation of quantum dynamics to derive the phase-space representation of the Pauli–Schrödinger equation for the density matrix of spin-1/2 particles in the presence of an electromagnetic field. The Liouville operator for the particle with spin follows from using the Wigner–Moyal transformation and a suitable Clifford algebra constructed on the phase space of a (4 + 1)-dimensional space–time with Galilean geometry. Connections with the algebraic formalism of thermofield dynamics are also investigated.     

Proof of perturbative gauge invariance for tree diagrams to all orders

It is proved that classical BRS‐invariance of the Lagrangian implies perturbative gauge invariance for tree diagrams to all orders. The proof applies in particular to the Einstein Hilbert Lagrangian of gravity.
