Conduction pumping is appropriate way for liquid pumping due to its benefits like being noise free and easy controlling. In the present work fully developed falling film flow in the presence of conduction pumps has been experimentally investigated. Two different arrangements were selected and Transformer oil was used. Results indicated that, applying electric field would decrease thickness of falling film in wide range of Re number. The variation of wave's frequency and velocity regarding to Re number is also presented and compared for arrangements. Conduction pumps increased wave's frequency at low Re numbers conversely decreased it at high Re numbers. 相似文献

On the concept and existence of solutions for fractional impulsive systems with Hadamard derivatives
In this paper, a class of nonlinear fractional order differential impulsive systems with Hadamard derivative is discussed. First, a reasonable concept on the solutions of fractional impulsive Cauchy problems with Hadamard derivative and the corresponding fractional integral equations are established. Second, two fundamental existence results are presented by using standard fixed point methods. Finally, two examples are given to illustrate our theoretical results. 相似文献

A vectorial nonlocal and nonlinear parabolic problem on a bounded domain for an intermediate state between type‐I and type‐II superconductivity is proposed. The domain is for instance a multiband superconductor that combines the characteristics of both types. The nonlocal term is represented by a (space) convolution with a singular kernel arising in Eringen's model. The nonlinearity is coming from the power law relation by Rhyner. The well‐posedness of the problem is discussed under low regularity assumptions and the error estimate for a semi‐implicit time‐discrete scheme based on backward Euler approximation is established. This article is concerned with the numerical solution of the full dynamical von Kármán plate equations for geometrically nonlinear (large‐amplitude) vibration in the simple case of a rectangular plate under periodic boundary conditions. This system is composed of three equations describing the time evolution of the transverse displacement field, as well as the two longitudinal displacements. Particular emphasis is put on developing a family of numerical schemes which, when losses are absent, are exactly energy conserving. The methodology thus extends previous work on the simple von Kármán system, for which longitudinal inertia effects are neglected, resulting in a set of two equations for the transverse displacement and an Airy stress function. Both the semidiscrete (in time) and fully discrete schemes are developed. From the numerical energy conservation property, it is possible to arrive at sufficient conditions for numerical stability, under strongly nonlinear conditions. Simulation results are presented, illustrating various features of plate vibration at high amplitudes, as well as the numerical energy conservation property, using both simple finite difference as well as Fourier spectral discretizations. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In the first part of this paper we present a spatially structured dynamic economic growth model which takes into account the level of pollution and a possible taxation based on the amount of produced pollution.
