一道美国大学生数学竞赛题的证明

文献[1,2]中对一道美国大学生数学竞赛题通过设定函数利用插值的方法进行了证明,本文根据问题的特点,给出另外的证明,用同一方法还对另一行列式问题给出一般求解公式.     

一种组合数矩阵及其性质

构造了一个对称正定矩阵,矩阵元素与组合数有关,讨论了该矩阵的一些性质.根据MATLAB数值计算的结果,提出了该矩阵有关特征值性质的一些猜想.     

一类行列式的插值解法

应用Lagrange插值的思想给出一类典型行列式的统一解法.     

Solitonic interactions and double-Wronskian-type solutions for a variable-coefficient variant Boussinesq model in the long gravity water waves

Under investigation in this paper is a variable-coefficient variant Boussinesq (vcvB) model for the nonlinear and dispersive long gravity waves in shallow water traveling in two horizontal directions with varying depth. Connection between the vcvB model and a variable-coefficient Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell-Segur system is revealed under certain constraints with the help of the symbolic computation. Multi-solitonic solutions in terms of the double Wronskian determinant for the vcvB model are derived. Interactions among the vcvB-solitons are discussed. A novel dynamic property is observed, i.e., the coexistence of elastic-inelastic-interactions.

针对线性代数教材中一道行列式证明题,利用行列式的性质,给出多种证明方法,旨在启发学生对相关行列式计算或证明题的解题方法进行探索．     

求条件极值的一种新方法

利用线性代数的理论方法,对多元函数求条件极值的拉格朗日乘数法加以改进,建立了求条件极值的一种新方法     

Dynamical Determinants via Dynamical Conjugacies for Postcritically Finite Polynomials

We give an analogue of Levin–Sodin–Yuditskii's study of the dynamical Ruelle determinants of hyperbolic rational maps in the case of subhyperbolic quadratic polynomials. Our main tool is to reduce to an expanding situation. We do so by applying a dynamical change of coordinates on the domains of a Markov partition constructed from the landing ray at the postcritical repelling orbit. We express the dynamical determinants as the product of an (entire) determinant with an explicit expression involving the postcritical repelling orbit, thus explaining the poles in d (z).     

与单形外接球心有关的一个不等式

若n维单形A＝A1A2…An r的外接球心O位于其内部，单形A与单形Ai＝A1A2…Ai-1OAi 1…An 1的外接球半径分别为R与Ri(i=1,2,…,n 1），本文证明了：n 1↑П↑i=1Ri≥(nR/2)^n 1，而等号成立的充分必要条件为单形A正则。     

Hill-Type Formula and Krein-Type Trace Formula for Hamiltonian Systems

In this paper, we give a survey on the Hill-type formula and its applications.Moreover, we generalize the Hill-type formula for linear Hamiltonian systems and Sturm-Liouville systems with any self-adjoint boundary conditions, which include the standard Neumann, Dirichlet and periodic boundary conditions. The Hill-type formula connects the infinite determinant of the Hessian of the action functional with the determinant of matrices which depend on the monodromy matrix and boundary conditions. Further, based on the Hill-type formula, we derive the Krein-type trace formula. As applications, we give nontrivial estimations for the eigenvalue problem and the relative Morse index.
