The surjectivity of the canonical homomorphism from singular homology to Cech homology

Let be a locally -connected compact metric space. Then, the canonical homomorphism from the singular homology group to the Cech homology group is surjective. Consequently, if a compact metric space is locally connected, then the canonical homomorphism from to is surjective.

     

Are covering (enveloping) morphisms minimal?

We prove that for certain classes of modules such that direct sums of -covers ( -envelopes) are -covers ( -envelopes), -covering ( -enveloping) homomorphisms are always right (left) minimal. As a particular case we see that over noetherian rings, essential monomorphisms are left minimal. The same type of results are given when direct products of -covers are -covers. Finally we prove that over commutative noetherian rings, any direct product of flat covers of modules of finite length is a flat cover.

THE EIGENVALUE PERTURBATION BOUND FOR ARBITRARY MATRICES

In this paper we present some new absolute and relative perturbation bounds for theeigenvalue for arbitrary matrices, which improves some recent results. The eigenvalueinclusion region is also discussed.     

On the condition numbers associated with the polar factorization of a matrix

We are interested in the calculation of explicit formulae for the condition numbers of the two factors of the polar decomposition of a full rank real or complex m × n matrix A, where m ≥ n. We use a unified presentation that enables us to compute such condition numbers in the Frobenius norm, in cases where A is a square or a rectangular matrix subjected to real or complex perturbations. We denote by σ₁ (respectively σ _n) the largest (respectively smallest) singular value of A, and by K(A) = σ₁/σ _n the generalized condition number of A. Our main results are that the absolute condition number of the Hermitian polar factor is √2(1 + K(A)²)^1/2/(1 + K(A)) and that the absolute condition number of the unitary factor of a rectangular matrix is 1/σ _n. 利用矩阵的奇异值分解方法,研究了矩阵广义逆的扰动上界,得到了在F-范数下矩阵广义逆的扰动上界定理,所得定理推广并彻底改进了近期的相关结果.相应的数值算例验证了定理的有效性.     

N(2,2,0)代数的(∈,∈Vq_(λ,μ))-模糊关联理想若干性质

对N(2,2,0)代数(∈,∈∨q_((λ,μ)))-模糊关联理想若干性质进行了详细的研究.首先,运用点态化的方法证明了(∈,∈∨q_((λ,μ)))-模糊关联理想的同态像与同态原像的基本性质;其次,研究了(∈,∈∨q_((λ,μ)))-模糊关联理想的直积;最后,讨论了(∈,∈∨q_((λ,μ)))-模糊关联理想的直积的投影子集.     

On Frobenius algebras and the quantum Yang-Baxter equation

It is shown that every Frobenius algebra over a commutative ring determines a class of solutions of the quantum Yang-Baxter equation, which forms a subbimodule of its tensor square. Moreover, this subbimodule is free of rank one as a left (right) submodule. An explicit form of a generator is given in terms of the Frobenius homomorphism. It turns out that the generator is invertible in the tensor square if and only if the algebra is Azumaya.

     

Affine Weyl group symmetries of Frobenius Painlevé equations

In this paper, we introduce a Frobenius Painlevé IV equation and the corresponding Hamilton system, and we give the symmetric form of the Frobenius Painlevé IV equation. Then, we construct the Lax pair of the Frobenius Painlevé IV equation. Furthermore, we recall the Frobenius modified KP hierarchy and the Frobenius KP hierarchy by bilinear equations, then we show how to get Frobenius Painlevé IV equation from the Frobenius modified KP hierarchy. In order to study the different aspects of the Frobenius Painlevé IV equation, we give the similarity reduction and affine Weyl group symmetry of the equation. Similarly, we introduce a Frobenius Painlevé II equation and show the connection between the Frobenius modified KP hierarchy and the Frobenius Painlevé II equation.
