NOTES ON GLAISHER＇S CONGRUENCES

Let p be an odd prime and let n≥1,k≥0 and r be integers,denote by Bk the kth Bernoulli number,It is proved that(i) If r≥1 is odd and suppose 1≥r+4,then ∑j=1^p-1 1/(np+j)^r=-(2n+1)r(r+1)/2(r+2)Bp-r-2p^2(mod p^3).(ii)If r≥2 is even and suppose p≥r+3, then p-1∑j=1 1/(np+j)^r=r/r+1Bv-r-1p(mod P^2).(iii) p-1∑j=1 1/(np+j)p-2=-(2n+1)p(mod P^2).This result generalizes the Glaisher‘s congruence. As a corollary, a generalization of the Wolsten-holme‘s theorem is obtained.     

The minority game with incomplete strategies

This paper proposes a new model of Incomplete Minority Game (IMG), which features a default hierarchy of rules. This model introduces random bits into players’ individual strategies and is capable of applying the exception rules in the absence of the default one. Analysis of the numerical experiment results indicates that, in comparison with the standard Minority Game (SMG) model, this IMG model expands the maximum ensemble of uncorrelated strategies (MEUS) and excels in the effective strategy set and dynamic evolution of individual strategies, which enhance the overall performance by reaching an approximate ideal status in a shorter time with less memory steps and more stable combination of strategies. This paper also discusses the practical implication of the new IMG model.     

Generalized Digroups

The concept of digroup has been proposed as a generalization of continuous groups whose tangent space is a Leibniz algebra. We study a further generalization of the digroup structure in which we do not demand that the inverses are necessarily bilateral. We characterize a generalized digroup as a set and as a product. We show an analogous to the first isomorphism theorem. Additionally, we explore the concept of dialgebra digroup.     

Additional symmetries of constrained CKP and BKP hierarchies

The additional symmetries of the constrained CKP (cCKP) and BKP (cBKP) hierarchies are given by their actions on the Lax operators, and their actions on the eigenfunction and adjoint eigenfunction {Φ i , Ψ i } are presented explicitly. Furthermore, we show that acting on the space of the wave operator, *k forms new centerless W cC 1+∞ and W cB 1+∞ -subalgebra of centerless W 1+∞ respectively. In order to define above symmetry flows *k of the cCKP and cBKP hierarchies, two vital operators Y k are introduce...     

On subnormal subgroups of linear groups

We describe the subnormal subgroups of 2-dimensional linear groups over local and full rings in which 2 is invertible, as well as the subnormal subgroups of symplectic groups over local rings in which 2 is invertible.     

Some variations of the Hardy hierarchy

We study some variations of the so‐called Hardy hierarchy (up to ε₀) of quickly growing functions, known from the literature, and obtain analogues of Ratajczyk's approximation lemma for them. (© 2005 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)     

《数书九章》大衍类算题中的数论命题

《数书九章》是我国著名数学家南宋秦九韶撰写(公元1247年)。青年时他“侍亲中都(临安,今杭州市)因得访习于太史(国家天文历法官员)”。《数书九章》有“大衍总数术”以处理天文历法问题,系统论述同余式解法,这在我国历史上是第一次,在世界数学史上也是创举。 本文用整数论知识来检验《数书九章》中有关解同余式算题(大衍类)题文、术文、草文以及清代学者所作注文的得失,使对我国传统数学在这一领域内的工作有,较系统的认识。

网站用户登录信息挖掘特征规则

本文首先研究了基本的面向属性归纳，提出了从网站用户登录信息中挖掘用户特征规则的思路。问题从解决多属性归纳着手，特点是首先建立概念树，然后用条件属性组合与约束的方法进行挖掘。实验表明，本文设计的模型能客观地描述客户行为，为从Web信息挖掘客户特征规则提出了一条有效的途径。
