Majorization for certain classes of analytic functions defined by fractional derivatives

Here we investigate a majorization problem involving starlike function of complex order belonging to a certain class defined by means of fractional derivatives. Relevant connections of the main results obtained in this paper with those given by earlier workers on the subject are also pointed out.     

Euler schemes and large deviations for stochastic Volterra equations with singular kernels

In this paper, an Euler type approximation is constructed for stochastic Volterra equation with singular kernels, which provides an algorithm for numerical calculation. Then, the large deviation estimates of small perturbation to equations of this type are obtained. We finally apply them to SDEs with the kernel of fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter H∈(0,1).     

Intersections and polar functions of fractional brownian sheets

Let B^H={B^H（t）,t∈R^N＋}be a real-valued（N,d）fractional Brownian sheet with Hurst index H=（H1,…,HN）.The characteristics of the polar functions for B^H are discussed.The relationship between the class of continuous functions satisfying Lipschitz condition and the class of polar-functions of B^H is obtained.The Hausdorff dimension about the fixed points and the inequality about the Kolmogorov’s entropy index for B^H are presented.Furthermore,it is proved that any two independent fractional Brownian sheets are nonintersecting in some conditions.A problem proposed by LeGall about the existence of no-polar continuous functions satisfying the Holder condition is also solved.     

Necessary and Sufficient Conditions for the Boundedness of the Riesz Potential in Local Morrey-type Spaces

The problem of the boundedness of the Riesz potential I _α , 0 < α < n, in local Morrey-type spaces is reduced to the boundedness of the Hardy operator in weighted L _p -spaces on the cone of non-negative non-increasing functions. This allows obtaining sufficient conditions for the boundedness in local Morrey-type spaces for all admissible values of the parameters. Moreover, for a certain range of the parameters, these sufficient conditions coincide with the necessary ones. V. Guliyev’s research was partially supported by the grant of the Azerbaijan-U. S. Optical image encryption using fractional Fourier transform and chaos

We propose a new method for image encryption using fractional Fourier transform and chaos theory. Random phase masks are generated using iterative chaos functions. The input image is combined with the first random phase mask at the object plane and is then transformed using the fractional Fourier transform. After the first fractional Fourier transform, the second random phase mask, again generated by using the chaos functions, is used at the fractional plane. The second fractional Fourier transform operation is then carried out to obtain the encrypted image. Three types of chaos functions have been used: the logistic map, the tent map and the Kaplan–Yorke map. The mean square error and the signal-to-noise ratio between the decrypted image and the input image for the correct order and the incorrect order of the fractional Fourier transform have been calculated. The computer simulations are presented to verify the validity of the proposed technique.     

Parameter estimation for stochastic equations with additive fractional Brownian sheet

We study the maximum likelihood estimator for stochastic equations with additive fractional Brownian sheet. We use the Girsanov transform for the the two-parameter fractional Brownian motion, as well as the Malliavin calculus and Gaussian regularity theory.      

Chaos control of a fractional order modified coupled dynamos system

This paper analyzes some Routh-Hurwitz stability conditions generalized to the fractional order case, and discusses the stability region of the fractional order system. We analyze the chaotic behavior of the fractional order modified coupled dynamos system concretely, and provide the conditions suppressing chaos to unstable equilibrium points, then use the feedback control method to control chaos in the fractional order modified coupled dynamos system. Numerical simulations show the effectiveness of the method.     

Numerical methods for nonlinear partial differential equations of fractional order

In this article, we implement relatively new analytical techniques, the variational iteration method and the Adomian decomposition method, for solving nonlinear partial differential equations of fractional order. The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. The two methods in applied mathematics can be used as alternative methods for obtaining analytic and approximate solutions for different types of fractional differential equations. In these schemes, the solution takes the form of a convergent series with easily computable components. Numerical results show that the two approaches are easy to implement and accurate when applied to partial differential equations of fractional order.     

On a fractional integral equation of periodic functions involving Weyl-Riesz operator in Banach algebras

In this paper, we study the existence of periodic solutions for a nonlinear integral equation of periodic functions involving Weyl-Riesz fractional integral operator under the mixed generalized Lipschitz, Carathéodory and monotonicity conditions. The fixed point theorems due to Dhage are the main tool in carrying out our proofs.
