We developed a theory of fluctuations for Brownian systems with weak long-range interactions. For these systems, there exists a critical point separating a homogeneous phase from an inhomogeneous phase. Starting from the stochastic Smoluchowski equation governing the evolution of the fluctuating density field of Brownian particles, we determine the expression of the correlation function of the density fluctuations around a spatially homogeneous equilibrium distribution. In the stable regime, we find that the temporal correlation function of the Fourier components of density fluctuations decays exponentially rapidly, with the same rate as the one characterizing the damping of a perturbation governed by the deterministic mean field Smoluchowski equation (without noise). On the other hand, the amplitude of the spatial correlation function in Fourier space diverges at the critical point T=Tc (or at the instability threshold k=km) implying that the mean field approximation breaks down close to the critical point, and that the phase transition from the homogeneous phase to the inhomogeneous phase occurs sooner. By contrast, the correlations of the velocity fluctuations remain finite at the critical point (or at the instability threshold). We give explicit examples for the Brownian Mean Field (BMF) model and for Brownian particles interacting via the gravitational potential and via the attractive Yukawa potential. We also introduce a stochastic model of chemotaxis for bacterial populations generalizing the deterministic mean field Keller-Segel model by taking into account fluctuations and memory effects. 相似文献

作物残茬作为农田生态系统的重要组成部分,影响着农田生态系统中的营养物质、碳、水和能量的流动与循环。作物残茬覆盖度作为描述作物残茬数量和分布的重要指标,对于农田生态系统C循环和全球气候变化均有实际意义,具备重要的定量监测价值。遥感技术具有准确、经济、快速大面积监测的能力,因此利用遥感监测区域尺度的作物残茬覆盖度,受到国内外学者的关注。工作回顾总结了目前利用遥感监测作物残茬覆盖度的主要方法和最新研究进展,并根据基本方法的差异以及数据源的不同,从五个类别分别介绍了遥感监测原理与技术革新,对每一类方法的优点和缺陷进行分析,并提出了相应的改进措施。最后对作物残茬覆盖度遥感监测方法的发展趋势进行了展望。 相似文献

In order to investigate the nonlinear fractional Zoomeron equation, we propose three methods, namely the Jacobi elliptic function rational expansion method, the exponential rational function method and the new Jacobi elliptic function expansion method. Many kinds of solutions are obtained and the existence of these solutions is determined. For some parameters, these solutions can degenerate to the envelope shock wave solutions and the envelope solitary wave solutions. A comparison of our new results with the well-known results is made. We derive a geometric phase using the quantum kinematic approach within the complex quantum Hamilton-Jacobi formalism. The single valuedness of the wave function implies that the geometric phase along an arbitrary path in the complex plane must be equal to an integer multiple of 2π. We analyze here the force noise associated with the mechanical damping of a test body surrounded by a large volume of rarefied gas, considering the statistics of momentum exchange in inelastic molecular collisions. We study the statistics of crack pinning in two dimensions by experiments and simulations of directed polymers in random media.
Mode I tensile tests on paper samples show a delocalization phenomenon as the notch length is varied if the fraction of cracks
pinned to the notch is monitored. This is compared with the behavior of directed polymers in the presence of both an energetically
favorable localized pinning center and bulk disorder. An analysis of the crack interface roughness indicates self-affine behavior

We consider a catalytic branching Brownian motion with general branching which takes place only when particles are at the origin at a rate β>0 on the local time scale. We first establish a spine decomposition for the case wherein the particles have a positive probability of having no children. Then using this tool, we obtain results regarding the asymptotic behavior of the number of particles above λt at time t for λ>0. To capture viscoelastic behavior of polymeric damping materials based on limited dynamic mechanical analysis tests, a simple fractional temperature spectrum model representing the viscoelastic materials is proposed in this paper and experimental tests aims at stressing the validity of the model. The storage modulus, the loss modulus, and the loss factor, are established based on the five-parameter fractional derivative model and the time–temperature superposition principle. The dynamic mechanical tests of two polymeric materials are carried out to verify this temperature spectrum model. Results indicate a good agreement between the temperature spectrum model and experimental tests at various temperature conditions. Furthermore, thermodynamic coupling of the viscoelastic material is investigated by temperature rise calculation and vibration experiment test. Comparison analysis shows that the temperature rise model can simulate the temperature rise process for the shear vibration of the constrained damping, which provide references for the damping capability, thermal damage and failure of viscoelastic material. 相似文献

从分子结构设计出发,合成了一系列新型刚性、高自由体积的聚酰亚胺炭膜前驱体,并制备了炭膜.采用热重分析(TGA)、傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)、X射线衍射(XRD)和高分辨透射电子显微镜(HRTEM)研究了不同聚酰亚胺前驱体的热分解特性及在热解炭化过程中化学结构、微结构的变化规律;测试了所制备炭膜的气体分离性能.结果表明,前驱体的自由体积分数显著影响炭膜的气体分离性能;聚合物结构越具刚性,自由体积越大,所得炭膜结构越疏松,极微孔道尺寸越大,越有利于气体分子在炭膜极微孔道中的渗透、扩散与传输.其中,刚性大体积基团芴基、酚酞cardo基团和六氟异丙基的引入能有效破坏分子链间的堆积,提高聚合物的自由体积,所形成炭膜的结构较疏松,均表现出优异的气体渗透性和分离选择性,超越了Robeson上限,解决了传统炭膜气体渗透性能低的问题.特别是采用羟基官能化聚酰亚胺前驱体制备的炭膜在保持较高气体分离选择性的同时,CO_2气体的渗透性高达24770 Barrer(1 Barrer≈7.5×10-18m2·s-1·Pa-1),可实现对CO_2的有效分离和捕集,展现出良好的商业化应用前景. 相似文献

A practical methodology for the correlation and prediction of the process–property performance of advanced materials is developed. The model polymer studied is PMDA-ODA polyimide. The connecting link between the process and the properties is the structural state of the polymer. An essential ingredient for a quantitative characterization of the system is a knowledge of its phase state and intrinsic molecular properties. The intrinsic molecular properties define the limiting performance properties available to the polymer. Anisotropic films and sheets produced by five different fabrication processes are examined. Maps of the molecular symmetry axis, the orientation function, and the thickness distributions of two 50-in.-wide sheets fabricated differently are measured nondestructively for process comparison. Four other film fabrication processes are examined and their three-dimensional orientation states determined and correlated. A three-dimensional orientation function triangular plot permits simultaneous representation of the different fabrication processes on the same figure and allows the investigator to choose the most economic and efficient fabrication route. The structure–property study includes the structural correlation and intrinsic molecular property determination of the anisotropic coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), the anisotropic mechanical moduli and compliances, and the anisotropic dielectric constants. 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
