Let R be a commutative ring without nil-factor. In this paper, we discuss the problem of quasi-valuation ring presented in the reference “Wang Shianghaw, On quasi-valuation ring, Northeast People‘s Univ. Natur. Sci. J., (1)(1957), 27-40”,when the quotient field of R is an algebraic number field or an algebraic function field, and we obtain a characterization of quasi-valuation rings.

Let be a connected, compact symplectic manifold equipped with a Hamiltonian action. We prove that, as fundamental groups of topological spaces, , where is the symplectic quotient at any value in the image of the moment map .

     

Generalized Bicyclic Semigroups and Jones Semigroups

In this paper, we consider the generalized bicyclic semigroups B_n = a, b | aⁿb = 1 and the Jones semigroups A_n = a, b | aⁿ⁺¹b = a. They are the generalizations of the bicyclic semigroup B = a, b | ab = 1 and its analogous semigroup A = a, b | a²b = a discovered by P.R., Jones in 1987. The word problem for these kinds of semigroups is solved. It is proved that, for n 2, B_n are bisimple right inverse but not inverse semigroups and that the semigroup C = a, b | a²b = a, ab² = b is the smallest idempotent-free homomorphic image of A_n. Moreover, we also prove that A_n and A_m are mutually embeddable but not isomorphic with each other if n m. Positive symmetric quotients and their selfadjoint extensions

We define a quotient of bounded operators and on a Hilbert space with a kernel condition as the mapping , . A quotient is said to be positive symmetric if . In this paper, we give a simple construction of positive selfadjoint extensions of a given positive symmetric quotient .

     

Bi-Invariant Domains in Semisimple Groups: Nonprincipal Orbits and Boundaries

Let G be a complex semisimple group with real form G . For the action of G × G on G by left and right translation, we define and study an orbit-type stratification of G. In particular, we compute the dimension of an arbitrary stratum; we identify certain strata of low codimension in G, the union of whose closures contains every nonprincipal stratum; and we describe the boundaries and adjacency relations of the maximal connected domains in G that contain only principal orbits.     

Exponential Objects in Coreflective or Quotient Reflective Subconstructs: A Comparison

We prove that in the construct PRAP of pre-approach spaces the class of exponential objects completely determines the exponential objects in certain subconstructs. We show that Exp B Exp PRAP for every coreflective subconstruct B and from this inclusion we deduce the equality Exp B = B Exp PRAP for every subconstruct B that is coreflective and finitely productive. We prove that the same equality holds for non-trivial quotient reflective subconstructs. These results induce well known answers to similar questions on the construct of pretopological spaces and are compared to the topological situation.     

A continuous decomposition of the Menger curve into pseudo-arcs

It is proved that the Menger universal curve admits a continuous decomposition into pseudo-arcs with the quotient space homeomorphic to .

     

光学波段菲波纳契序列一维光子晶体纳米膜传输特性研究

为了研究光学波段菲波纳契序列一维光子晶体纳米膜的传输特性,应用传输矩阵方法数值模拟各种情况下的透射率即传输函数随频率的变化.数值结果表明在正入射时,菲波纳契序列一维光子晶体中的禁带宽度、中心位置、数目都与构成序列的项数、组元物理厚度、组成序列组元初始次序、组元折射率差值都对传输特性有较大影响,在可见光区组元折射率差值越大越易形成较宽禁带,进一步研究广义菲波纳契序列一维光子晶体纳米膜的传输特性,发现比典型情况更易在可见光区形成禁带.     

Representations of distributive semilattices in ideal lattices of various algebraic structures

We study the relationships among existing results about representations of distributive semilattices by ideals in dimension groups, von Neumann regular rings, C*-algebras, and complemented modular lattices. We prove additional representation results which exhibit further connections with the scattered literature on these different topics. 记ZG为有限群G的整群环,△n(G)为增广理想△(G)的n次幂,Qn(G)=△"(G)/△n 1(G)为G的增广商群.本文考虑了二面体群D2tk(k 奇)和m次对称群Sm,证明了Qn(D2tk)为秩不超过2t 1的基本2-群以及Qn(Sm)≌Z2.
