This paper is concerned with the rate of convergence in the normal approximation of the sequence {Fn}, where each Fn is a functional of an infinite-dimensional Gaussian field. We develop new and powerful techniques for computing the exact rate of convergence in distribution with respect to the Kolmogorov distance. As a tool for our works, the Edgeworth expansion of general orders, with an explicitly expressed remainder, will be obtained, and this remainder term will be controlled to find upper and lower bounds of the Kolmogorov distance in the case of an arbitrary sequence {Fn}. As applications, we provide the optimal fourth moment theorem of the sequence {Fn} in the case when {Fn} is a sequence of random variables living in a fixed Wiener chaos or a finite sum of Wiener chaoses. In the former case, our results show that the conditions given in this paper seem more natural and minimal than ones appeared in the previous works.  相似文献

We investigate the relation between Hall’s theorem and K?nig’s theorem in graphs and hypergraphs. In particular, we characterize the graphs satisfying a deficiency version of Hall’s theorem, thereby showing that this class strictly contains all K?nig–Egerváry graphs. Furthermore, we give a generalization of Hall’s theorem to normal hypergraphs.  相似文献

We consider two types of infinite systems of second-order differential equations with boundary conditions in the Banach sequence space c. For each system, sufficient conditions are provided for the existence of solutions. Our approach is based on the use of measure of noncompactness concept and the application of Darbo’s theorem for condensing operators. In Mader (2010), Mader conjectured that for every positive integer k and every finite tree T with order m, every k-connected, finite graph G with δ(G)?32k?+m?1 contains a subtree T isomorphic to T such that G?V(T) is k-connected. In the same paper, Mader proved that the conjecture is true when T is a path. Diwan and Tholiya (2009) verified the conjecture when k=1. In this paper, we will prove that Mader’s conjecture is true when T is a star or double-star and k=2.  相似文献

In this article, we shall characterize torsionfreeness of modules with respect to a semidualizing module in terms of the Serre’s condition (Sn). The image of the higher Gauss map for a projective variety is discussed. The notion of higher Gauss maps here was introduced by Fyodor L. Zak as a generalization of both ordinary Gauss maps and conormal maps. The main result is a closed formula for the degree of those images of Veronese varieties. This yields a generalization of a classical formula by George Boole on the degree of the dual varieties of Veronese varieties in 1844. As an application of our formula, degree bounds for higher Gauss map images of Veronese varieties are given.  相似文献

In this work, we give necessary and su?cient conditions for a group ring (of finite group) to satisfy the converse of Schur’s lemma for group rings of finite groups. Rings considered here are commutative or noncommutative perfect. Some cases of twisted group rings are studied. Also we introduce the notion of semi-CSL ring.  相似文献
