We study the reverse triangle inequalities for suprema of logarithmic potentials on compact sets of the plane. This research is motivated by the inequalities for products of supremum norms of polynomials. We find sharp additive constants in the inequalities for potentials, and give applications of our results to the generalized polynomials.We also obtain sharp inequalities for products of norms of the weighted polynomials , and for sums of potentials with external fields. An important part of our work in the weighted case is a Riesz decomposition for the weighted farthest-point distance function.  相似文献

The Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation problem is studied in the class Sκ of meromorphic functions f with κ poles inside the unit disk D and with ‖fL(T)?1. In the indeterminate case, the parametrization of all solutions is given in terms of a family of linear fractional transformations with disjoint ranges. A necessary and sufficient condition for the problem being determinate is given in terms of the Pick matrix of the problem. The result is then applied to obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a meromorphic function with a given pole multiplicity which satisfies Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation conditions and has the minimal possible L-norm on the unit circle T.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the problem of compactness for weighted composition operators, defined on a Müntz space . We compute the essential norm of such operators on the Müntz spaces. Funct. 18 (3) (2007) 223-231], we study the boundedness and compactness of the weighted differentiation composition operator , where u is a holomorphic function on the unit disk D, φ is a holomorphic self-map of D and nN0, from the mixed-norm space H(pq?), where p,q > 0 and ? is normal, to the weighted-type space or the little weighted-type space . If (X, p) and (Y, q) are two asymmetric normed spaces, the set LC(X, Y) of all continuous linear mappings from (X, p) to (Y, q) is not necessarily a linear space, it is a cone. If X and Y are two Banach lattices and p and q are, respectively, their associated asymmetric norms (p(x) = ‖+‖, q(y) = ‖y +‖), we prove that the positive operators from X to Y are elements of the cone LC(X, Y). We also study the dual space of an asymmetric normed space and finally we give open mapping and closed graph type theorems in the framework of asymmetric normed spaces. The classical results for normed spaces follow as particular cases. The paper is related to the lower and upper estimates of the norm for Mercer kernel matrices. We first give a presentation of the Lagrange interpolating operators from the view of reproducing kernel space. Then, we modify the Lagrange interpolating operators to make them bounded in the space of continuous function and be of the de la Vallée Poussin type. The order of approximation by the reproducing kernel spaces for the continuous functions is thus obtained, from which the lower and upper bounds of the Rayleigh entropy and the l 2-norm for some general Mercer kernel matrices are provided. As an example, we give the l 2-norm estimate for the Mercer kernel matrix presented by the Jacobi algebraic polynomials. The discussions indicate that the l 2-norm of the Mercer kernel matrices may be estimated with discrete orthogonal transforms. Supported by the national NSF (No: 10871226) of P.R. China.  相似文献
