The dynamical algebras of the trigonometric and hyperbolic symmetric Pöschl-Teller Hamiltonian hierarchies are obtained. A kind of discrete-differential realizations of these algebras are found which are isomorphic to so(3, 2) Lie algebras. In order to get them, first the relation between ladder and factor operators is investigated. In particular, the action of the ladder operators on normalized eigenfunctions is found explicitly. An efficient algorithm is described for calculating stationary one-dimensional transonic outflow solutions of the compressible Euler equations with gravity and heat source terms. The stationary equations are solved directly by exploiting their dynamical system form. Transonic expansions are the stable manifolds of saddle-point-type critical points, and can be obtained efficiently and accurately by adaptive integration outward from the critical points. The particular transonic solution and critical point that match the inflow boundary conditions are obtained by a two-by-two Newton iteration which allows the critical point to vary within the manifold of possible critical points. The proposed Newton Critical Point (NCP) method typically converges in a small number of Newton steps, and the adaptively calculated solution trajectories are highly accurate. A sample application area for this method is the calculation of transonic hydrodynamic escape flows from extrasolar planets and the early Earth. We analyze a continuous-time model of a multi-agent system motivated by simulation studies on dynamics of decision making
in animal groups in motion. Each individual moves at constant speed in the plane and adjusts its heading in response to relative
headings of others in the population. The population includes two subgroups that are “informed” such that individuals in each
subgroup have a preferred direction of motion. The model exhibits fast and slow time scales allowing for a reduction in the
dimension of the problem. The stable solutions for the reduced model correspond to compromise by individuals with conflicting
preferences. We study the global phase space for the proposed reduced model by computing equilibria and exploring stability
and bifurcations.

By means of a dynamical non-equilibrium temperature we derive a generalized heat-conduction equation which accounts for non-local, non-linear, and relaxation effects. The dynamical temperature is also capable to reproduce several enhanced heat equations recently proposed in literature. The heat flux is supposed to be proportional to the gradient of the dynamical temperature, and the material functions are allowed to depend on temperature. It is also pointed out that the heat flux cannot assume arbitrary values, but it is limited from above by a maximum value which ensures that the thermal conductivity remains positive. 相似文献

Extended Josephson junction driven by dc bias current is studied numerically. Two types of solutions, symmetrical and asymmetrical, are found. The current–voltage characteristic (IVC) is calculated. The symmetrical solutions form main hysteretic IVC and asymmetrical ones create an additional branch. Depending on the bias current value periodic, quasiperiodic and chaotic modes of the junction motion was observed. Dynamics of the junction affected by thermal fluctuations was analyzed. The Dunlap–Kenkre (DK) result states that dynamical localization of a driven quantum particle in a periodic lattice happens when the ratio of the field magnitude to the field frequency of the diagonal drive is a root of the ordinary Bessel function of order 0. This has been experimentally verified. A generalization of the DK result is presented here. The hitherto considered DK model contains only the diagonal forcing. In the present extended version of the DK model we consider both off-diagonal and diagonal driving fields with different frequencies and a definite relative phase between them. We analytically show that new dynamical localizations conditions exist where an important role is played by the relative phase. In appropriate limits our results reduce to DK result. 相似文献
