Derivations and Automorphisms of Twisted Deformative Schrödinger–Virasoro Lie Algebras

In this article, the derivation algebra and automorphism group of the twisted deformative Schrödinger–Virasoro Lie algebras are determined.     

Simplicity of Some Derivations of k[x,y]

If k is a field of characteristic zero, c ∈ k?0, and 1 ≤ s ≤ r are integers such that either r ? s + 1 divides s or s divides r ? s + 1, then it is shown that the derivation y ^r ? _x  + (xy ^s  + c)? _y of the polynomial ring k[x, y] is simple.     

On Solutions for Derivations of a Noetherian k-algebra and Local Simplicity

We introduce a general notion of solution for a Noetherian differential k-algebra and study its relationship with simplicity, where k is an algebraically closed field; then we analyze conditions under which such solutions may exist and be unique, with special emphasis in the cases of k-algebras of finite type and formal series rings over k. Using that notion we generalize a criterion for simplicity due to Brumatti–Lequain–Levcovitz and give a geometric characterization of that; as an application we give a new proof of a classification theorem for local simplicity due to Hart and obtain a general result for simplicity of formal series rings over k.     

Structures of Not-finitely Graded Lie Algebras Related to Generalized Virasoro Algebras

In this paper, we study the structure theory of a class of not-finitely graded Lie algebras related to generalized Virasoro algebras. In particular, the derivation algebras, the automorphism groups and the second cohomology groups of these Lie algebras are determined.     

A LOCAL PROPERTY OF DERIVATIONS ON JORDAN–BANACH ALGEBRAS

Let D be a (possibly unbounded) derivation on a complex Jordan–Banach algebra J. We show that if a ∈ J and D ² a = 0, then Da is quasinilpotent.     

Derivations on the algebra of operators in hilbert C*-modules

Let M be a full Hilbert C*-module over a C*-algebra A,and let End*A(M) be the algebra of adjointable operators on M.We show that if A is unital and commutative,then every derivation of End A(M) is an inner derivation,and that if A is σ-unital and commutative,then innerness of derivations on "compact" operators completely decides innerness of derivations on End*A(M).If A is unital(no commutativity is assumed) such that every derivation of A is inner,then it is proved that every derivation of End*A(Ln(A)) is also inner,where Ln(A) denotes the direct sum of n copies of A.In addition,in case A is unital,commutative and there exist x0,y0 ∈ M such that x0,y0 = 1,we characterize the linear A-module homomorphisms on End*A(M) which behave like derivations when acting on zero products.     

On the Derivations of Semiprime Rings and Noncommutative Banach Algebras
