The present work is devoted to the stability and attractivity analysis of a nonlocal delayed reaction–diffusion equation (DRDE) with a non-monotone bistable nonlinearity that describes the population dynamics for a two-stage species with Allee effect. By the idea of relating the dynamics of the nonlinear term to the DRDE and some stability results for the monostable case, we describe some basin of attractions for the DRDE. Additionally, existence of heteroclinic orbits and periodic oscillations are also obtained. Numerical simulations are also given at last to verify our theoretical results.  相似文献

This article presents the results of experimental and theoretical studies of the vO H and vO D band shapes in the polarized infrared spectra of 3‐thiophenic acid crystals measured at room temperature and at 77 K. The line shapes are studied theoretically within the framework of the anharmonic coupling theory, Davydov coupling, Fermi resonance, direct and indirect damping, as well as the selection rule breaking mechanism for forbidden transitions. The adiabatic approximation allowing to separate the high‐frequency motion from the slow one of the H‐bond bridge is performed for each separate H‐bond bridge of the dimer and a strong nonadiabatic correction is introduced via the resonant exchange between the fast‐mode excited states of the two moieties. The spectral density is obtained within the linear response theory by Fourier transform of the damped autocorrelation functions. The approach correctly fits the experimental line shape of the hydrogenated compound and predicts satisfactorily the evolution in the line shapes with temperature and the change in the line shape with isotopic substitution. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The adiabatic decay of Benjamin–Ono algebraic solitons is studied when the influence of various types of small dissipation and radiative losses due to large scale Coriolis dispersion are taken into consideration. The physically most important dissipations are studied, Rayleigh and Reynolds dissipation, Landau damping, dissipation in a laminar boundary layer and Chezy friction on a rough bottom. The decay laws for the soliton parameters, that is amplitude, velocity and width, are found in analytical form and are compared with the results of direct numerical modelling.  相似文献

设计制造了一种多层滑动极板式电流变阻尼器,使用自制的电流变液,采用正弦激励,进行了这种电流变阻尼器的阻尼特性试验。研究了电流变阻尼器的载荷-位移迟滞特性和载荷-速率迟滞特性,同时研究分析了这种电流变阻尼器的周期能耗特性及等效粘性阻尼特性。结果表明,阻尼器的周期能耗量随外加电场强度的增加而增加,外加电场强度越大,阻尼器的等效阻尼系数越大。阻尼器的阻尼特性体现为库仑阻尼和粘性阻尼的组合,其中随外加电场强度可控的主要是库仑阻尼力,而且库仑阻尼力不仅与外加强度有关,也与阻尼器的运动速度有关。该阻尼器系统是一个强非线性系统,极板间电流变液在低剪切应变率时表现为Bingham塑性流体,在高剪切应变率时流变性态比较复杂,导致载荷-速率迟滞环出现多区域闭合现象。  相似文献

This work investigates the influence of non‐locality in the dielectric response on the spatio‐temporal evolution of surface plasmon‐polaritons (SPP). SPP excitations are coherently generated by a quantum scatterer in the vicinity of a flat metal interface. It is demonstrated that the excited non‐equilibrium SPP population eventually splits into two coherent localized wave packets. One packet propagates along the interface and the other is centered in the vicinity of the scatter. The amplitude of both waves slowly decreases due to several relaxation mechanisms, with the Landau damping being the strongest. The non‐locality of the metallic dielectric response considerably influences spatial profiles of the plasmon field intensity, in particular, leading to coherent spatio‐temporal oscillations between the two wave packets.  相似文献

The eigenvalue problem is solved by means of a singular perturbation theory and the WKB method. The generalized dispersion equation for longitudinal oscillation in an unmagnetized, collisionless, isotropic and relativistic plasma is derived in the context of nonextensive q-distribution. An analytical expression for the Landau damping is obtained in an ultra-relativistic regime, which is related to q-parameter. In the limit q → 1, the result based on the relativistic Maxwellian distribution is recovered. It is shown that the interactions between the wave and particles are stronger and the waves are more strongly damped for lower values of q-parameter. The results are explained by the increased number of superthermal particles or low velocity particles contained in the plasma with the nonextensive distribution.  相似文献
