Define d λν = [S(λ): D(ν)] to be the composition multiplicity of D(ν) in S(λ). In this paper we compute the decomposition numbers d λν for all partitions of the form λ = (a, c, 1 b ) and ν 2 ? regular.  相似文献

Using a growth function,GK defined for algebras over integral domains, we construct a generalization of Gelfand Kirillov dimensionGGK. GGK coincides with the classical no-tion of GK for algebras over a field, but is defined for algebras over arbitrary commutative rings. It is proved that GGK exceeds the Krull dimension for affine Noetherian PI algebras. The main result is that algebras of GGK at most one are PI for a large class of commutative Noetherian base rings including the ring of integers, Z. This extends the well-known result of Small, Stafford, and Warfield found in [11].  相似文献

There have been few examples of computations of Sweedler cohomology, or its generalization in low degrees known as lazy cohomology, for Hopf algebras of positive characteristic. In this paper we first provide a detailed calculation of the Sweedler cohomology of the algebra of functions on (?/2) r , in all degrees, over a field of characteristic 2. Here the result is strikingly different from the characteristic zero analog.

Then we show that there is a variant in characteristic p of the result obtained by Kassel and the author in characteristic zero, which provides a near-complete calculation of the second lazy cohomology group in the case of function algebras over a finite group; in positive characteristic, the statement is, rather surprisingly, simpler.  相似文献

We study the congeniality property of algebras, as defined by Bao, He, and Zhang, to establish a version of Auslander’s theorem for various families of filtered algebras. It is shown that the property is preserved under homomorphic images and tensor products under some mild conditions. Examples of congenial algebras in this paper include enveloping algebras of Lie superalgebras, iterated differential operator rings, quantized Weyl algebras, down-up algebras, and symplectic reflection algebras.  相似文献

Majid in [14] and Bespalov in [2] obtain a braided interpretation of Radford’s theorem about Hopf algebras with projection ([19]). In this paper we introduce the notion of H-cleft comodule (module) algebras (coalgebras) for a Hopf algebra H in a braided monoidal category, and we characterize it as crossed products (coproducts). This allows us give very short proofs for know results in our context, and to introduce others stated for the category of R-modules about of Hopf algebra extensions. In particular we give a proof of the result by Bespalov [2] for a braided monoidal category with co(equalizers).  相似文献

The free nonassociative algebra has two subspaces which are closed under both the commutator and the associator: the Akivis elements and the primitive elements. Every Akivis element is primitive, but there are primitive elements which are not Akivis. Using a theorem of Shestakov, we give a recursive formula for the dimension of the Akivis elements. Using a theorem of Shestakov and Umirbaev, we prove a closed formula for the dimension of the primitive elements. These results generalize the Witt dimension formula for the Lie elements in the free associative algebra.  相似文献
