It is proved that the equal allocation of non-separable costs value is characterized if associated consistency is invoked for parametric values $\lambda =\frac{1}{k},k=2,3,\dots ,n?1$, even without the axiom of continuity imposed in Hwang (2006).

The generalized jacobian of the optimal solution in parametric optimization

If a strong sufficient optimality condition of second order together with the Mangasarian-Fromowitz and the constant rank constraint qualifications are: satisfied for a parametric optimization problem, then a local optimal solution is strongly stable in the sense of Kojima and the corresponding optimal solution function is locally Lipschitz continuous. In the article the possibilities for the computation of the generalized Jacobian of this function are discussed. We will give formulae for the guaranteed computation of the entire generalized Jacobian, provided that an additional assumption is satisfied. An example will show its necessity. Unfortunately, this assumption is difficult to be verified. Without it, at least one element of the generalized Jacobian can be computed with non-polynomial complexity in the worst case. Using a uniforrn distribution in the parameter space, a last approach yields one of them with probability one in polynomial time

Hölder-continuity of certain generalized convex functions

It is proved that for a rationally s-convex function continuity and local s-Hölder - Continuity are equivalent at each interior point of the domain of definition of the function. Furthermore, it is shown that a rationally s-convex function which is bounded on a nonempty open convex set is s-Hölder-continuous on every compact subset of this set.

Fluid experimental flow estimation based on an optical-flow scheme

We present in this paper a novel approach dedicated to the measurement of velocity in fluid experimental flows through image sequences. Unlike most of the methods based on particle image velocimetry (PIV) approaches used in that context, the proposed technique is an extension of “optical-flow” schemes used in the computer vision community, which includes a specific enhancement for fluid mechanics applications. The method we propose enables to provide accurate dense motion fields. It includes an image based integrated version of the continuity equation. This model is associated to a regularization functional, which preserve divergence and vorticity blobs of the motion field. The method was applied on synthetic images and on real experiments carried out to allow a thorough comparison with a state-of-the-art PIV method in conditions of strong local free shear.
