In vehicle dynamics there are many parameters that are desired for vehicle control and modelling. One of the most important parameters for handling and stability is the vehicle side-slip angle. The ability to directly measure the vehicle side-slip in real-time will aid and improve many driver assist systems such as stability control schemes and roll-over mitigation, especially over rough terrain.Commercial side-slip angle solutions are available but they are prohibitively expensive and are only suitable for use during vehicle development and performance evaluation. They are also restricted to small side-slip angles and give unsatisfactory results at low speeds and over uneven terrain. Previous research has proven that digital image correlation can be used to accurately measure vehicle side-slip angle over rough off-road terrain using inexpensive, off-the-shelf cameras. However, side-slip angle calculations were performed in post processing from pre-recorded footage and not implemented in real time due to the large computational times of the novel algorithms developed.This paper describes the improvements made to the algorithms that enable real-time implementation. The side-slip angle is measured using a single camera pointing downwards to the terrain and digital image correlation. The sensor is tested on a flat surface using a rig that allows for validation. The maximum sampling frequency and accuracy are investigated. The system is shown to measure accurately and in real-time up to 100 km/h speeds.  相似文献

The formation of the coarse columnar crystal structure of Ti-6Al-4V alloy in the process of additive manufacturing greatly reduces the mechanical performance of the additive manufactured parts, which hinders the applications of additive manufacturing techniques in the engineering fields. In order to refine the microstructure of the materials using the high intensity ultrasonic via the acoustic cavitation and acoustic flow effect in the process of metal solidification, an ultrasonic vibration technique was developed to a synchronous couple in the process of Laser and Wire Additive Manufacturing (LWAM) in this work. It is found that the introduction of high-intensity ultrasound effectively interrupts the epitaxial growth tendency of prior-β crystal and weakens the texture strength of prior-β crystal. The microstructure of Ti-6Al-4V alloy converts to fine columnar crystals from typical coarse columnar crystals. The simulation results confirm that the acoustic cavitation effect applied to the molten pool created by the high-intensity ultrasound is the key factor that affects the crystal characteristics.  相似文献

We present a series of molecular dynamics simulations to study the structure of porous matrices confined in a slit-pore. The matrices were prepared by two different methods. In the first method we used direct simulations of a fluid at a fixed density and the matrix was taken from the last configuration of its particles. In the second method we simulated a binary mixture where one of the components served as a template material and the final porous matrix configuration was obtained by removing template particles from the mixture. In both methods the matrices were confined by two parallel walls (slit-pore) modeled by continuous solid surfaces. The results show that the matrix structure and porosity were affected by the method of preparation of the porous matrices. Moreover, we found smaller void cavities in these matrices than in matrices prepared without walls. Finally, diffusion of a fluid inside the matrices was investigated and it was found that the diffusion coefficient did not decrease with the fluid density, and presented a maximum at certain values of the fluid density.  相似文献

The continuum percolation system is developed to model a random stock price process in this work. Recent empirical research has demonstrated various statistical features of stock price changes, the financial model aiming at understanding price fluctuations needs to define a mechanism for the formation of the price, in an attempt to reproduce and explain this set of empirical facts. The continuum percolation model is usually referred to as a random coverage process or a Boolean model, the local interaction or influence among traders is constructed by the continuum percolation, and a cluster of continuum percolation is applied to define the cluster of traders sharing the same opinion about the market. We investigate and analyze the statistical behaviors of normalized returns of the price model by some analysis methods, including power-law tail distribution analysis, chaotic behavior analysis and Zipf analysis. Moreover, we consider the daily returns of Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index from January 1997 to July 2011, and the comparisons of return behaviors between the actual data and the simulation data are exhibited.  相似文献

针对制造网络,从能力视角,研究信息系统集成能力、业务覆盖能力、区域连接能力、人力资源能力和信息系统支持的无形资产能力对中小企业间知识共享的影响.对河北省和天津市近10家具有"电子合作"特征的中小制造企业进行调研,收回有效问卷163份,采用SPSS12.0进行数据分析.结果显示:信息系统集成能力对企业间知识共享的影响程度最大,其次是区域连接能力,再次是人力资源能力,而无形资产能力和业务覆盖能力对企业间知识共享没有显著影响.为管理者构建面向企业间知识共享的信息系统提供参考.  相似文献

A comparative study of molecular ordering of trans-trans-4′-alkylbicyclohexyl-4-carbonitriles (cyclohexylcyclohexanes, CCHs) with alkyl group: propyl (CCH3); pentyl (CCH5); and heptyl (CCH7) has been carried out with respect to translational and orientational motions. The CNDO/2 method has been employed to compute the net atomic charge and atomic dipole moment at each atomic centre. Configurational energy has been computed using the Rayleigh-Schrodinger perturbation method. The total interaction energy values obtained through these computations were used to calculate the probability of each configuration in a dielectric medium (i.e. non-interacting and non-mesogenic solvent, benzene) at the phase transition temperature using the Maxwell-Boltzmann formula. Further, the flexibility of various configurations has been studied in terms of variation of probability due to departure from the most probable configurations. It is observed that, in a dielectric medium, the probabilities are redistributed, although the order of preference remains the same. An attempt has been made to explain the nematogenic behaviour of these mesogenic compounds, and thereby develop a molecular model for the liquid-crystallinity.  相似文献

In this work, a computational model of magnetic resonance (MR) flow imaging is proposed. The first model component provides fluid dynamics maps by applying the lattice Boltzmann method. The second one uses the flow maps and couples MR imaging (MRI) modeling with a new magnetization transport algorithm based on the Eulerian coordinate approach. MRI modeling is based on the discrete time solution of the Bloch equation by analytical local magnetization transformations (exponential scaling and rotations).  相似文献

Methacrylamide-2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulphonic acid (MA-AMPS) (80:20) is subjected to n -irradiation and the generated free radicals are identified by the electron spin resonance (ESR) technique. The ESR spectrum "obser"ved for MA-AMPS (80:20) has shown a complex line shape, indicating the presence of more than one free radical. Computer simulations are employed to unravel the radicals responsible for the ESR spectrum. Radical "identification has been done with the magnetic parameters employed during computer simulation. The observed ESR spectrum of the copolymer is simulated to be a superposition of component quartet, quintet and singlet spectra. The component spectra are assigned to ~CH 2 - . (CONH 2 )-CH 2 ~ or ~CH 2 - . H-CH 2 ~, . H 3 radicals, "respectively. The possibility of formation of such radicals in the sample material has been discussed.  相似文献
