The versatile coordination chemistry of the well‐investigated phosphoraneiminato‐ligand R3PN— ( I ) was extended by the successive introduction of protons to the phosphorus atom. The position of the resulting equilibrium between the NH‐phosphanylamido‐ [R2P‐NH—] and the PH‐phosphoraneiminato‐form [R2HP=N—] is affected by the Lewis acidity of the coordinated metal fragment. Experimental studies on complexes with various substitution patterns at the group 4 metal center R2HP=N[M] ( II ) were unambiguously confirmed by DFT‐calculations. The isolation of group 4 PH‐dihydrido‐phosphoraneiminato‐complexes RH2P‐N[M] ( III ) is prevented by the low thermodynamic stability of the target molecules, also supported by the results of ab initio calculations. However, an access to the by then unknown transition‐metal substituted iminophosphanes RP=N[M] ( IV ) was verified for the first time. Within extensive studies on the coordination chemistry of bis(imino)phosphoranes RP(=NR′)(=NR″), several species of group 4 complexes R(R′N=)P=N[M] ( V ) were isolated and structurally characterized. In this case, investigations on the NH/PH‐tautomerism were performed exclusively on theoretical level, because the required educts are experimentally non‐accessible due to their kinetic instability. 相似文献

Heterobimetallic Complexes with Chelate Ligands from Multidentate Amines and 1,1-Bis(diphenylphosphine)ethene By an addition reaction of bidentate amines Me2N(CH2)nNH2 (n = 2, as-4C2N; 3, as-5C2N) and vinylidene derivatives with an activated double bond CH2 = C(PPh2)2M(CO)4 (M = Cr, Mo, W) were synthesized in dichlormethane unsymmetrical chelate ligands of the type as-4C2N (or as-5C2N)PPM(CO)4. They gave with divalent salts M′Y2 (Y = ac, M′ = Cu, Ni. Y = Cl, M′ = Zn, Cd, Hg) the coloured bimetallic complexes M′Y(as-4C2N) (or as-5C2N)PPM(CO)4 which were characterized by means of IR-, UV/VIS spectroscopic and 1H, 13C and 31P NMR measurements. The molecular structures of the complexes Cuac2(as-5C2N)PPCr(CO)4, I and that of CdCl2(as-4C2N)PPCr(CO)4, II , were acertained by results of single crystal X-ray determinations. In the crystals of I—II , the coordination polyhedron of each chromium(0) central atom containing two phosphorous donor atoms in a four-membered chelate ring and four terminal CO ligands is octahedrally distorted. This coordination sphere is connected at the carbon ring atom via a methylen chain group (spacer) with the bidentate amine ligand, which has a secondary and a tertiary nitrogen donor atom. Both nitrogen atoms are coordinated with the Cuac2 under formation of a new kind of [4 + 2]-coordination in a trischelate complex. The six-membered diamine chelat ring in I has a chair-like conformation. The chromium-cadmium complex II is dimer from which the Cd central atoms obtain the rare coordination number of five. Summary. This review reveals that, in contrast to the general opinion, the aqueous speciation of nickel is poorly known. Besides the
fairly well established first hydrolysis constant, data are scarce and only poor estimates can be derived for higher Ni hydrolysis
constants from a few solubility studies. The situation is even worse in the case of aqueous carbonate complexes. No reliable
experimental study has been published so far and almost all numbers reported in thermodynamic databases are unacceptable estimates.
In this review we scrutinise all these published estimates and propose expectation ranges of nickel carbonate complex stability
through correlation with other known thermodynamic constants. Solubility constants for a few simple nickel solids are known
or have been estimated from thermochemical data. However, none of these simple solids is of geochemical relevance at ambient
conditions. Based on field evidence, classes of solids are identified which potentially govern nickel concentrations in ground
and surface waters. Recent spectroscopic data indicate that magnesium clay minerals and layered double hydroxides are the
most prominent candidates for nickel-bearing solids at ambient conditions.

Vibrational (Raman and IR) spectra of the 1:1 complexes of dihalogermylene and dihalostannylene with 1,4-dioxane and PPh3 have been reported, the structures of the complexes Cl2Ge·C4H8O2 and Cl2Ge·PPh3 updated using high-resolution X-ray method. Quantum-chemistry calculations of the geometry and normal mode frequencies and eigenvectors were carried out for some of the complexes. The results show that in the structure of the polymeric solid complexes of X2M with 1,4-dioxane, intermolecular coordination XM plays a prominent role, whereas the corresponding complexes with PPh3 are monomeric. In the vibrational spectra of all the complexes, an inversion of symmetric and antisymmetric stretching νXM (X=Cl, Br; M=Ge, Sn) frequencies, found for ‘free’ X2MII particles, still persists, suggesting that the X2M moieties preserve their specifity as carbene analogues also in the complexes. 相似文献

When two paramagnetic transition metal ions are present in the same molecular entity, the magnetic properties can be totally different from the sum of the magnetic properties of each ion surrounded by its nearest neighbors. These new properties depend on the nature and the magnitude of the interaction between the metal ions through the bridging ligands. If both ions have an unpaired electron (e.g. Cu2+ ions), then the molecular state of lowest energy is either a spin singlet or a spin triplet. In the former case, the interaction is said to be antiferromagnetic, in the latter case ferromagnetic. The nature and the order of magnitude of the interaction can be engineered by judiciously choosing the interacting metal ions and the bridging and terminal ligands, and, thus, by the symmetry and the delocalization of the orbitals centered on the metal ions and occupied by the unpaired electrons (magnetic orbitals). The first success in this “molecular engineering” of bimetallic compounds was in the synthesis of a Cu2+VO2+ heterobimetallic complex in which the interaction is purely ferro-magnetic. The same strategy could be utilized for designing molecular ferromagnets, one of the major challenges in the area of molecular materials. Another striking result is the possibility of tuning the magnitude of the interaction through a given bridging network by modifying the nature of the terminal ligands, which, in some way, play the role of “adjusting screws”. By careful selection of the bridging and terminal ligands, a very large antiferro-magnetic interaction can be achieved, even if the metal ions are far away from each other. Summary The stability constants n of nitrato complexes of Pr, Nd, Sm, Ho, and Er were determined by UV/Vis spectroscopy. It was found that 1=0.87, 1.24, 1.94, 0.24, 0.11 forM (NO3)2+ (M=Pr, Nd, Sm, Ho, Er) and 2=0.06, 0.04 forM (NO3)

(M=Pr, Nd) at 25 °C. Detailed inspection of the lanthanide spectra shows that increasing nitrate concentration in the solution results in a bathochromic shift of the f-f bands for Nd and Sm which provides evidence for the formation of inner sphere nitrato complexes.

Eine detaillierte Analyse der Lanthanidenspektren zeigt, daß steigende Nitratkonzentration in Lösung eine bathochrome Verschiebung der f-f-Banden von Nd und Sm bewirkt. Tris{[tri(2-methylphenyl)phosphine]gold(I)}-, tris{[tri(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)phosphine]gold(I)}- and tris{[tri(cyclohexyl)phosphine]gold(I)}-oxonium tetra-fluoroborate ( 1?3 ) have been prepared from the corresponding (phosphine)gold(I) chlorides, silver oxide, and sodium tetrafluoroborate in acetone. These oxonium salts are excellent aurating agents for primary amines. Thus in the reaction with 1, t -butylamine tBuNH2 and aniline PhNH2 are readily converted into the tri nuclear imino complexes {[(2-MeC6H4)3P]Au}3NtBu+BF4? ( 4 ) and {[(2-MeC6H4)3P]Au}3NPh+BF ( 5 ) in high yields. With 3 , both aniline and 8-amino-quinoline also give the tri nuclear complexes, i.e. {[(c-C6H11)3P]Au}3 NPh+BF ( 6 ) and {[(c-C6H11)3P]Au}3N(C9H6N)+BF ( 7 ). Auration of aniline with the most sterically hindered reagent 2 yields only the bi nuclear complex {[2,4,6-Me3C6H2)3P] · Au}2N(Ph)H+BF ( 8 ). The reagents 1?3 and the Products 4 – 8 have been characterized by analytical and NMR spectroscopic data, and the crystal structures of compounds 4 and 6 have been determined by single crystal x-ray diffraction. In the cations of 4 , a triangle of gold atoms with short Au — Au contacts [3.036(1), 3.107(1), and 3.214(1) Å] forms a steep pyramid with the nitrogen atom, in which the angles Au? N? Au are all much smaller than the tetrahedral standard of 109.7°: 94.8(4), 98.1(4), and 103.0(4)°. This triangular Au3 unit is staggered relative to the three methyl groups of the tBu substituent at nitrogen. The results for 6 are similar [Au — Au: 3.037(1), 3.071(1), and 3.222(1) Å; Au? N? Au: 95.3(3), 96.5(3), and 103.6(3)°]. Variable temperature NMR studies of compounds 3 and 8 show hindered rotation of the mesityl groups about the P? C bonds of the ligands originating from the steric congestion within each tertiary phosphine. 相似文献
