设S(n)是Smarandache函数,其中n是一正整数.讨论Smarandache函数S(n)在数列F((2k),1)=F(n,1)=n2n+1(n=2k)与数列G(2n,1)=(2n)2n+1上的下界估计.基于初等方法证明了:当偶数n≥6时,有S(F((2k),1))=S(F(n,1))≥6×2n+1;当n≥4时,有S(G(2n,1))≥6×2n+1.     

The Bertini irreducibility theorem for higher codimensional slices

In [3], Poonen and Slavov recently developed a novel approach to Bertini irreducibility theorems over an arbitrary field, based on random hyperplane slicing. In this paper, we extend their work by proving an analogous bound for the dimension of the exceptional locus in the setting of linear subspaces of higher codimensions.     

Coherent electron transport in a helical nanotube

The quantum dynamics of carriers bound to helical tube surfaces is investigated in a thin-layer quantization scheme. By numerically solving the open-boundary Schrödinger equation in curvilinear coordinates, geometric effect on the coherent transmission spectra is analysed in the case of single propagating mode as well as multimode. It is shown that, the coiling endows the helical nanotube with different transport properties from a bent cylindrical surface. Fano resonance appears as a purely geometric effect in the conductance, the corresponding energy of quasibound state is obviously influenced by the torsion and length of the nanotube. We also find new plateaus in the conductance. The transport of double-degenerate mode in this geometry is reminiscent of the Zeeman coupling between the magnetic field and spin angular momentum in quasi-one-dimensional structure.     

Further bounds for waiting time distributions and their means in the case ρ<1

In the paper exponential bounds for the instationary and stationary waiting time d.f.'s in GI/GI/1/∞, derived by several authors partly using martingale theory arguments, are improved with the help of monotonicity properties. Further it is shown that Ne?eptjrenko's bound for the rate of convergence of the mean waiting time in single server queues Is also valid for many server queues with ρ < 1.     

On weighted spectral radius of unraveled balls and normalized Laplacian eigenvalues

For a graph G, the unraveled ball of radius r centered at a vertex v is the ball of radius r centered at v in the universal cover of G. We obtain a lower bound on the weighted spectral radius of unraveled balls of fixed radius in a graph with positive weights on edges, which is used to present an upper bound on the $s^{\text{th}}$ (where $s\ge 2$) smallest normalized Laplacian eigenvalue of irregular graphs under minor assumptions. Moreover, when $s=2$, the result may be regarded as an Alon–Boppana type bound for a class of irregular graphs.

We relate the distribution of the absolute value of some generalized Gauss sums to the absolute irreducibility of some polynomials in two variables in characteristic 0 and p.     

A Coulomb-related family of potentials having zero-energy bound states

We propose here a new large class of singular central potentials having zero-energy bound states for many values of angular momenta. The potentials are shown to be closely related to the standard attractive Coulomb interaction. Some of them admit the E≠0$E\ne 0$ bound states as well. A quantum–classical correspondence is also discussed.     

带连续变利率风险模型最终破产概率上界

考虑了带二元连续变利息力的Sparre Andersen风险模型.研究了积累值盈余过程的表达式与性质;在利率递增环境下,利用推广后的调节系数方程组与递归技术推导了最终破产概率的上界,结论表明得到的破产概率上界是更为一般的Lundberg指数上界.     

可加稳定过程的自相交局部时

本文研究了可加稳定过程的自相交局部时的问题.利用Borel–Canteil引理等方法,得到可加稳定过程的自相交局部时的Hlder上界,推广了文献[5]中的结果.
