The problem of matrix eigenvalues is encountered in various fields of engineering endeavor. In this paper, a new approach based on the Adomian decomposition method and the Faddeev-Leverrier’s algorithm is presented for finding real eigenvalues of any desired real matrices. The method features accuracy and simplicity. In contrast to many previous techniques which merely afford one specific eigenvalue of a matrix, the method has the potential to provide all real eigenvalues. Also, the method does not require any initial guesses in its starting point unlike most of iterative techniques. For the sake of illustration, several numerical examples are included.  相似文献

The main aim of the present work is to propose a new and simple algorithm for fractional Zakharov–Kuznetsov equations by using homotopy perturbation transform method (HPTM). The Zakharov–Kuznetsov equation was first derived for describing weakly nonlinear ion-acoustic waves in strongly magnetized lossless plasma in two dimensions. The homotopy perturbation transform method is an innovative adjustment in Laplace transform algorithm (LTA) and makes the calculation much simpler. HPTM is not limited to the small parameter, such as in the classical perturbation method. The method gives an analytical solution in the form of a convergent series with easily computable components, requiring no linearization or small perturbation. The numerical solutions obtained by the proposed method indicate that the approach is easy to implement and computationally very attractive.  相似文献

A Toeplitz determinant whose entries are described by a q-analogue of the Narayana polynomials is evaluated by means of Laurent biorthogonal polynomials which allow of a combinatorial interpretation in terms of Schröder paths. As an application, a new proof is given to the Aztec diamond theorem by Elkies, Kuperberg, Larsen and Propp concerning domino tilings of the Aztec diamonds. The proof is based on the correspondence with non-intersecting Schröder paths developed by Johansson.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a Cauchy–Kowalevski (CK) extension problem that arises naturally within the framework of Hermitian Clifford analysis, which concerns the study of Dirac‐like operators in several complex variables. The work presented here includes CK extensions of higher codimension and in particular the CK extension of the Gauss distribution in several complex variables. In this study, a practical matrix method based on Laguerre polynomials is presented to solve the higher‐order linear delay differential equations with constant coefficients and functional delays under the mixed conditions. Also, an error analysis technique based on residual function is developed and applied to some problems to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the method. In this article, we establish the Bessel polynomials with varying large negative parameters and discuss their orthogonality based on the generalized Bessel polynomials. By using the Riemann-Hilbert boundary value problem on the positive real axis, we get the Riemann-Hilbert characterization of the main Bessel polynomials with varying large negative parameters.  相似文献
