Tensor products of Hilbert space effect algebras

A definition of a tensor product in the category of Hilbert space effect algebras is introduced such that the tensor product reflects as much as possible of the physically important properties of the components. It is shown that in the complex case, there are two candidates to the tensor product, which are not equivalent. The situation is similar to the tensor product in the category of projection lattices, but also the two dimensional case is included. The case of tensor product of two classical systems is also investigated.

本文给出了预加法范畴中态射集左（右）星序，星序的显公式刻划，证得了素性，正性预加法范畴中态射集星型序的某些刻划，把Ｈａｒｔｗｉｇ，Ｓｔｙａｎ，Ｍｉｔｒａ，Ｂａｋｓａｌａｒｙ关于复矩阵星型序刻划的有关结果推广到这两类范畴中。     

The Groups LS and Morphisms of Quadratic Extensions

For a morphism of quadratic extensions of antistructures, groups similar to the groups of obstructions to splitting along one-sided submanifolds are defined. These groups are a natural generalization of the splitting obstruction groups. The results obtained open additional possibilities for constructing groups and natural maps in L-theory.     

Openness with Respect to a Closure Operator

We study the notions of closed, open, initial and final morphism with respect to a closure operator and show that they have a perfectly symmetric pullback behaviour. We also investigate their interaction with closed and with open subobjects and the impact of the existence of suitably defined complements of subobjects.     

Invariant curves for birational surface maps

We classify invariant curves for birational surface maps that are expanding on cohomology. When the expansion is exponential, the arithmetic genus of an invariant curve is at most one. This implies severe constraints on both the type and number of irreducible components of the curve. In the case of an invariant curve with genus equal to one, we show that there is an associated invariant meromorphic two-form.

Compactness, Perfectness, Separation, Minimality and Closedness with Respect to Closure Operators

In this paper, the characterization of closed and strongly closed subobjects of an object in categories of various types of filter convergence spaces is given and it is shown that they induce a notion of closure. Furthermore, each of the notions of compactness, perfectness, separation, minimality and absolute closedness with respect to these two new closure operators are characterized in these categories and some known results are re-obtained.     

Stability and integrability of horizontally conformal maps and harmonic morphisms

In this article, we study stability of minimal fibers and integrability of horizontal distribution for horizontally conformal maps and harmonic morphisms. Let be a horizontally conformal submersion. We prove that if the horizontal distribution is integrable, then any minimal fiber of φ is volume‐stable. This result is an improved version of the main theorem in [15]. As a corollary, we obtain if φ is a submersive harmonic morphism whose fibers are totally geodesic, and the horizontal distribution is integrable, then any fiber of φ is volume‐stable and so such a map φ is energy‐stable if M is compact. We also show that if is a horizontally conformal map from a compact Riemannian manifold M into an orientable Riemannian manifold N which is horizontally homothetic, and if the pull‐back of the volume form of N is harmonic, then the horizontal distribution is integrable and φ is a harmonic morphism.     

Deformation of Leibniz Algebra Morphisms Over Commutative Local Algebra Base

We study deformations of Leibniz algebra morphisms over a commutative local algebra base with 1. We construct the associated deformation cohomology that controls deformations using the cochain complex defining the Leibniz cohomology.
