Let be a linearly reductive group over a field , and let be a -algebra with a rational action of . Given rational --modules and , we define for the induced -action on Hom a generalized Reynolds operator, which exists even if the action on Hom is not rational. Given an -module homomorphism , it produces, in a natural way, an -module homomorphism which is -equivariant. We use this generalized Reynolds operator to study properties of rational - modules. In particular, we prove that if is invariantly generated (i.e. ), then is a projective (resp. flat) -module provided that is a projective (resp. flat) -module. We also give a criterion whether an -projective (or -flat) rational --module is extended from an -module.

We pose and solve the asymptotic Dirichlet problem for the Schrödinger operator via rough isometries on a certain class of Riemannian manifolds. With suitable potentials, we give the solvability of the problem for a naturally defined class of data functions.

Area integral functions are introduced for sectorial operators on Hilbert spaces. We establish the equivalence relationship between the square and area integral functions. The Willmore flow is well known problem from the differential geometry. It minimizes the Willmore functional defined as integral of the mean-curvature square over given manifold. For the graph formulation, we derive modification of the Willmore flow with anisotropic mean curvature. We define the weak solution and we prove an energy equality. We approximate the solution numerically by the complementary finite volume method. To show the stability, we re-formulate the resulting scheme in terms of the finite difference method. By using simple framework of the finite difference method (FDM) we show discrete version of the energy equality. The time discretization is done by the method of lines and the resulting system of ODEs is solved by the Runge–Kutta–Merson solver with adaptive integration step. We also show experimental order of convergence as well as results of the numerical experiments, both for several different anisotropies. 相似文献

We give an easy proof of Andrews and Clutterbuck’s main results [J. Amer. Math. Soc., 2011, 24(3): 899−916], which gives both a sharp lower bound for the spectral gap of a Schrödinger operator and a sharp modulus of concavity for the logarithm of the corresponding first eigenfunction. We arrive directly at the same estimates by the ‘double coordinate’ approach and asymptotic behavior of parabolic flows. Although using the techniques appeared in the above paper, we partly simplify the method and argument. This maybe help to provide an easy way for estimating spectral gap. Besides, we also get a new lower bound of spectral gap for a class of Schödinger operator. 相似文献
