Monge-Ampère equation is a nonlinear equation with high degree, therefore its numerical solution is very important and very difficult. In present paper the numerical method of Dirichlet's problem of Monge-Ampère equation on Cartan-Hartogs domain of the third type is discussed by using the analytic method. Firstly, the Monge-Ampère equation is reduced to the nonlinear ordinary differential equation, then the numerical method of the Dirichlet problem of Monge-Ampère equation becomes the numerical method of two point boundary value problem of the nonlinear ordinary differential equation. Secondly, the solution of the Dirichlet problem is given in explicit formula under the special case, which can be used to check the numerical solution of the Dirichlet problem.  相似文献

Isotropic Berwald metrics are as a generalization of Berwald metrics. Shen proved that every Berwald metric is of vanishing S-curvature. In this paper, we generalize this fact and prove that every isotropic Berwald metric is of isotropic S-curvature. Let F = α + β be a Randers metric of isotropic Berwald curvature. The mutational equations of Aubin extend ordinary differential equations to metric spaces (with compact balls). In first-order geometric evolutions, however, the topological boundary need not be continuous in the sense of Painlevé–Kuratowski. So this paper suggests a generalization of Aubin’s mutational equations that extends classical notions of dynamical systems and functional analysis beyond the traditional border of vector spaces: Distribution-like solutions are introduced in a set just supplied with a countable family of (possibly non-symmetric) distance functions. Moreover their existence is proved by means of Euler approximations and a form of “weak” sequential compactness (although no continuous linear forms are available beyond topological vector spaces). This general framework is applied to a first-order geometric example, i.e. compact subsets of ℝ N evolving according to the nonlocal properties of both the current set and its proximal normal cones. Here neither regularity assumptions about the boundaries nor the inclusion principle are required. In particular, we specify sufficient conditions for the uniqueness of these solutions.   相似文献

In three‐dimensional Lorentz–Minkowski space ??3, we consider a spacelike plane Π and a round disc Ω over Π. In this article we seek the shapes of unbounded surfaces whose boundary is ? Ω and its mean curvature is a linear function of the distance to Π. These surfaces, called stationary surfaces, are solutions of a variational problem and governed by the Young–Laplace equation. In this sense, they generalize the surfaces with constant mean curvature in ??3. To compare two space-times on large domains, and in particular the global structure of their manifolds, requires using identical frames of reference and associated coordinate conditions. In this paper we use and compare two classes of time-like congruences and corresponding adapted coordinates: the harmonic and quo-harmonic classes. Besides the intrinsic definition and some of their intrinsic properties and differences we consider with some detail their differences at the level of the linearized approximation of the field equations. The hard part of this paper is an explicit and general determination of the harmonic and quo-harmonic coordinates adapted to the stationary character of three well-know metrics, Schwarzschild's, Curzon's and Kerr's, to order five of their asymptotic expansions. It also contains some relevant remarks on such problems as defining the multipoles of vacuum solutions or matching interior and exterior solutions.  相似文献

Geometric aspects of the moduli space of Riemann surfaces   总被引:10,自引:0,他引:10  
We describe some recent progress in the study of moduli space of Riemann surfaces in this survey paper. New complete Kahler metrics were introduced on the moduli space and Teichmuller space. Their curvature properties and asymptotic behavior were studied in details. These natural metrics served as bridges to connect all the known canonical metrics, especially the Kahler-Einstein metric. We showed that all the known complete metrics on the moduli space are equivalent and have Poincare type growth. Furthermore, the Kahler-Einstein metric has strongly bounded geometry. This also implied that the logarithm cotangent bundle of the moduli space is stable in the sense of Mumford.  相似文献
