运用线性算子及其共轭算子的谱之间的关系,研究具有可选服务的M/M/1排队模型主算子的豫解集,并得到在虚轴上除了零外其它所有点都属于该算子的豫解集.     

On Appell sequences of polynomials of Bernoulli and Euler type

A construction of new sequences of generalized Bernoulli polynomials of first and second kind is proposed. These sequences share with the classical Bernoulli polynomials many algebraic and number theoretical properties. A class of Euler-type polynomials is also presented.     

Analysis of a time-limited service priority queueing system with exponential timer and server vacations

We consider a multi-class priority queueing system with a non-preemptive time-limited service controlled by an exponential timer and multiple (or single) vacations. By reducing the service discipline to the Bernoulli schedule, we obtain an expression for the Laplace-Stieltjes transform (LST) of the waiting time distribution via an iteration procedure, and a recursive scheme to calculate the first two moments. It is noted that we have to select embedded Markov points based on the service beginning epochs instead of the service completion epochs adopted for most of M/G/1 queueing analyses. Through the queue-length analysis, we obtain a decomposition form for the LST of the waiting time in each queue having the exhaustive service.      

Modal analysis and cutoff frequencies of a doubly clad plasma loaded waveguide having a lemniscates of Bernoulli-type core cross-section

The modal dispersion characteristics of EM waves in a new unconventional plasma loaded doubly clad waveguide having a shape of the lemniscates of Bernoulli-type core cross-section have been studied analytically. The proposed waveguide has three parts namely the core with slighter high index, the inner cladding with plasma and the outer cladding with air. Now using the necessary orthogonal coordinates for the proposed structure and imposing the boundary conditions under the weak guidance condition, the modal characteristics equation has been obtained considering variations in plasma width and plasma frequency, the dispersion curves and cutoff frequencies have been obtained and presented in this paper. It is noted that as the width of plasma layer increases, the cutoff frequency also increases considerably in all considered cases. This shows that using plasma width as a new parameter we can control any particular mode on our wish.     

On the modulus of continuity for spectral measures in substitution dynamics

The paper gives first quantitative estimates on the modulus of continuity of the spectral measure for weak mixing suspension flows over substitution automorphisms, which yield information about the “fractal” structure of these measures. The main results are, first, a Hölder estimate for the spectral measure of almost all suspension flows with a piecewise constant roof function; second, a log-Hölder estimate for self-similar suspension flows; and, third, a Hölder asymptotic expansion of the spectral measure at zero for such flows. Our second result implies log-Hölder estimates for the spectral measures of translation flows along stable foliations of pseudo-Anosov automorphisms. A key technical tool in the proof of the second result is an “arithmetic-Diophantine” proposition, which has other applications. In Appendix A this proposition is used to derive new decay estimates for the Fourier transforms of Bernoulli convolutions.     

Digit frequencies and Bernoulli convolutions

It is well known that when β$\beta$ is a Pisot number, the corresponding Bernoulli convolution _νβ${\nu }_{\beta }$ has Hausdorff dimension less than 1$1$, i.e. that there exists a set _Aβ$A_{\beta }$ with _νβ(_Aβ)=1${\nu }_{\beta }\left(A_{\beta }\right)=1$ and _dimH(_Aβ)<1${dim}_H\left(A_{\beta }\right)<1$. We show explicitly how to construct for each Pisot number β$\beta$ such a set _Aβ$A_{\beta }$.     

基于网络外部性的港口FDI企业与内资港口企业博弈策略研究

将港口服务产品的网络外部性和服务质量水平引入到发货人的效用函数中,通过Hotelling价格竞争模型分析港口FDI企业与内资港口企业的博弈策略行为,分别研究在Nash和Stackelberg博弈条件下,港口服务价格、收益与网络外部性系数、服务质量水平之间的关系.理论研究的结论表明:港口FDI企业与内资港口企业在Stackelberg条件下的最优定价、均衡收益均大于Nash条件下的最优定价、均衡收益;企业最优定价随网络外部性强度线性递减,随服务水平线性递增;企业均衡收益受服务水平和网络外部性强度的影响,呈现出一定的区间变化规律,处于相同港口外部市场环境下,内资港口企业与港口FDI企业的服务策略选择和侧重点不相同.     

面向不确定需求租户集的云服务智能匹配模型

为了解决云计算环境下由海量租户集和资源集间的不确定性因素引起的高质量云服务获取困难的问题,提出了一种描述动态异构租户集不确定性需求的方法.在此基础上,构建属性权重完全未知情况下的云服务智能匹配模型,排除了租户提交权值造成的偏差.神经网络以属性区间计算的相离度作为输入,服务满意度为输出来动态模拟租户集的不确定需求,运用萤火虫算法求解模型获取最优服务组合.最后,实例验证了神经网络的可靠性以及算法的有效性.实验结果表明,模型能有效获取高质量的云服务组合,优于传统的匹配方法.     

带凹性生产成本运输问题的新随机规划模型及其求解

提出了一种新的能反映决策者满意度的随机变量序关系,并据此研究了随机不等式的确定性等价类,方法被称为满意度方法.最后将其应用于带凹性生产成本运输问题的求解中,并将方法与常用的机会约束方法进行比较,说明满意度法不仅合理可行,而且当决策者对约束条件的要求越高时,它所得最优值越优于机会约束法所得最优值.     

On a sufficient condition for a Fano manifold to be covered by rational N-folds

In this paper, we prove a conjecture by T. Suzuki, which says if a smooth Fano manifold satisfies some positivity condition on its Chern characters, then it can be covered by rational N-folds. We prove this conjecture by using purely combinatorial properties of Bernoulli numbers.
