讨论了φ凹(-φ凸)算子,得到了φ凹增(-φ凸减)算子不动点存在唯一性结果,并且给出了收敛到该不动点的迭代序列.该结果去掉了以往文献中的φ→0(t→0~+)这一条件,从而改进和推广了相关结果.作为应用,给出了一类的Sturm-Liouville边值问题的正解的存在唯一性结果.

该文利用不动点指数理论,考虑了边值问题(BVP)(φ_p(u′(t)))′+a(t)f(t,u(t))=0,0t1,u′(0)=u(1)=0或u(0)=u(1)=0在非线性项f(t,u)可变号的情况下两个正解存在的充分条件,推广和改进了现有文献的结果.     

On unbounded subnormal operators

A minimal normal extension of unbounded subnormal operators is established and characterized and spectral inclusion theorem is proved. An inverse Cayley transform is constructed to obtain a closed unbounded subnormal operator from a bounded one. Two classes of unbounded subnormals viz analytic Toeplitz operators and Bergman operators are exhibited.     

Construction of conformal mappings by generalized polarization tensors

We present a new systematic method to compute the Riemann mapping from the outside of the unit disc to the outside of a simply connected domain. We derive explicit relations between the coefficients of the Riemann mapping and the generalized polarization tensors associated with the domain. Because the generalized polarization tensors can be computed numerically, we are able to compute the coefficients of the Riemann mapping using these relations. Positive numerical splitting method for the Hull and White 2D Black–Scholes equation

We consider the locally one‐dimensional backward Euler splitting method to solve numerically the Hull and White problem for pricing European options with stochastic volatility in the presence of a mixed derivative term. We prove the first‐order convergence of the time‐splitting. The parabolic equation degenerates on the boundary x = 0 and we apply a fitted finite volume scheme to the equation to resolve the degeneracy and derive the fully discrete problem as we also investigate the discrete maximum principle. A duality principle in weighted Sobolev spaces on the real line

An embedding inequality of Sobolev type is characterized in the paper with help of a duality principle and boundedness criteria for the Hardy–Steklov integral operator in weighted Lebesgue spaces.     

A note about Volterra operators on weighted Banach spaces of entire functions

We characterize boundedness, compactness and weak compactness of Volterra operators acting between different weighted Banach spaces of entire functions with sup‐norms in terms of the symbol g; thus we complement recent work by Bassallote, Contreras, Hernández‐Mancera, Martín and Paul 3 for spaces of holomorphic functions on the disc and by Constantin and Peláez 16 for reflexive weighted Fock spaces.
