On a class of new and practical performance indexes for approximation of fold bifurcations of nonlinear power flow equations

Efficient measurement of the performance index (the distance of a loading parameter from the voltage collapse point) is one of the key problems in power system operations and planning and such an index indicates the severity of a power system with regard to voltage collapse. There exist many interesting methods and ideas to compute this index. However, some successful methods are not yet mathematically justified while other mathematically sound methods are often proposed directly based on the bifurcation theory and they require the initial stationary state to be too close to the unknown turning point to make the underlying methods practical.This paper first gives a survey of several popular methods for estimating the fold bifurcation point including the continuation methods, bifurcation methods and the test function methods (Seydel's direct solution methods, the tangent vector methods and the reduced Jacobian method) and discuss their relative advantages and problems. Test functions are usually based on scaling of the determinant of the Jacobian matrix and it is generally not clear how to determine the behaviour of such functions. As the underlying nonlinear equations are of a particular type, this allows us to do a new analysis of the determinants of the Jacobian and its submatrices in this paper. Following the analysis, we demonstrate how to construct a class of test functions with a predictable analytical behaviour so that a suitable index can be produced. Finally, examples of two test functions from this class are proposed. For several standard IEEE test systems, promising numerical results have been achieved.     

On bent functions with some symmetric properties

This paper discusses a kind of bent functions that have some symmetric properties about some variables. Section 2 mainly discusses the bent functions symmetric about some two variables and gives the necessary and sufficient condition for these functions. Section 3 gives algebraic expressions of some bent functions.

Kuhn-Tucker型条件的充分性一直是最优化理论中引人注意的一个问题.本文对非光滑函数提出了几个非凸概念,然后,讨论了非光滑非凸多目标规划中Kuhn-Tucker型条件和Fritz John型条件的充分性,在很弱的条件下,建立了一系列充分条件.     

飞秒孤子传输演化的数值研究

利用分步傅里叶法数值模拟了飞秒孤子在光纤中的传输演化过程。对光纤中单个孤子的传输及二阶孤子的自陡峭效应和自频移效应进行了分析,指出在一定的参数取值范围内,自频移效应对二阶fs孤子传输的影响要比自陡峭效应大,占主导地位,且对自陡峭效应有一定的抑制作用。     

On one generalization of a DiPerna and Majda theorem

The weak limits of sequences {f(u^ν)}_ν∈? where u^ν's are vector‐valued µ‐measurable functions defined on a compact set Ω and f is (possibly) discontinuous are investigated. As shown by the author (J. Conv. Anal. (to appear)), they are described in terms of integral formulae involving parametrized measures independent of f, similarly as in the classical theorem by Young and its generalization due to DiPerna and Majda. Highly accurate calculation of radial spheroidal functions

A new method for calculating the radial spheroidal functions of the first kind is proposed for the arguments that are greater than unity in modulus. A well-known representation of these functions is refined and used for this purpose. The constructs and the software implementation proposed in the paper provide an efficient tool for the calculation of the functions with a desired accuracy in a wide range of parameters.     

有限时滞微分系统依照双测度的实际稳定性

本文对具有有限时滞的泛函微分方程建立了关于依照两种测度的实际稳定性的Razumikhin型判定定理，其中未采用通常的辅助函数，且可运用多个含有状态变量x的部分变元的Lyapunov函数，得出部分变远实际稳定性的判定定理，从而改进了已有的结果。     

On a result of Ozawa concerning uniqueness of meromorphic functions

In this paper we prove a uniqueness theorem for meromorphic functions sharing three values with some weight which improves some known results.     

Laguerre expansion on the Heisenberg group and Fourier-Bessel transform on C~n Dedicated to Professor Sheng GONG on the occasion of his 75th birthday

Given a principal value convolution on the Heisenberg group Hn = Cn×R, we study the relation between its Laguerre expansion and the Fourier-Bessel expansion of its limit on Cn. We also calculate the Dirichlet kernel for the Laguerre expansion on the group Hn.     

Propriétés statistiques des entiers friables

Let Ψ(x,y) (resp. Ψ_m(x,y)) denote the number of integers not exceeding x that are y-friable, i.e. have no prime factor exceeding y (resp. and are coprime to m). Evaluating the ratio Ψ_m(x/d,y)/Ψ(x,y) for 1≤slantd≤slantx, m≥slant 1, x≥slant y≥slant 2, turns out to be a crucial step for estimating arithmetic sums over friable integers. Here, it is crucial to obtain formulae with a very wide range of validity. In this paper, several uniform estimates are provided for the aforementioned ratio, which supersede all previously known results. Applications are given to averages of various arithmetic functions over friable integers which in turn improve corresponding results from the literature.
