Interpolation by neural network operators activated by ramp functions

In this paper, a family of interpolation neural network operators are introduced. Here, ramp functions as well as sigmoidal functions generated by central B-splines are considered as activation functions. The interpolation properties of these operators are proved, together with a uniform approximation theorem with order, for continuous functions defined on bounded intervals. The relations with the theory of neural networks and with the theory of the generalized sampling operators are discussed.     

Commutativity of the Valdivia–Vogt table of representations of function spaces

In this article, we show that the Valdivia–Vogt structure table—containing the sequence space representations of the most used spaces of smooth functions appearing in the theory of distributions—can be interpreted as a commutative diagram, i.e., there is an isomorphism between the space of infinitely differentiable functions and the space , where s is the space of rapidly decreasing sequences, such that its restriction to the other function spaces in the structure table yields an isomorphism between these spaces of smooth functions and their sequence space representation. This result answers the corresponding question of Prof. Dietmar Vogt formulated on the conference “Functional Analysis: Applications to Complex Analysis and Partial Differential Equations” held in B?dlewo in May 2012.     

On unique continuation for Schrödinger operators of fractional and higher orders

In this note we study the property of unique continuation for solutions of , where V is in a function class of potentials including for . In particular, when , our result gives a unique continuation theorem for the fractional Schrödinger operator in the full range of α values.     

Hyponormality of bounded‐type Toeplitz operators

In this paper we deal with the hyponormality of Toeplitz operators with matrix‐valued symbols. The aim of this paper is to provide a tractable criterion for the hyponormality of bounded‐type Toeplitz operators (i.e., the symbol is a matrix‐valued function such that Φ and are of bounded type). In particular, we get a much simpler criterion for the hyponormality of when the co‐analytic part of the symbol Φ is a left divisor of the analytic part.     

Markovian extensions of symmetric second order elliptic differential operators

Let be bounded with a smooth boundary Γ and let S be the symmetric operator in given by the minimal realization of a second order elliptic differential operator. We give a complete classification of the Markovian self‐adjoint extensions of S by providing an explicit one‐to‐one correspondence between such extensions and the class of Dirichlet forms in which are additively decomposable by the bilinear form of the Dirichlet‐to‐Neumann operator plus a Markovian form. By such a result two further equivalent classifications are provided: the first one is expressed in terms of an additive decomposition of the bilinear forms associated to the extensions, the second one uses the additive decomposition of the resolvents provided by Kre?n's formula. The Markovian part of the decomposition allows to characterize the operator domain of the corresponding extension in terms of Wentzell‐type boundary conditions. Some properties of the extensions, and of the corresponding Dirichlet forms, semigroups and heat kernels, like locality, regularity, irreducibility, recurrence, transience, ultracontractivity and Gaussian bounds are also discussed.     

Measures of noncompactness and essential pseudospectra on Banach space

In this research article, we work with the notion of the measures of noncompactness in order to establish some results concerning the essential pseudospectra of closed, densely defined linear operators in the Banach space. We start by giving a refinement of the definition of the essential pseudospectra by means of the measure of noncompactness, and we give sufficient conditions on the perturbed operator to have its invariance. 种群细胞增生中一类Rotenberg模型研究

本文在Lp（1（≤）p＜＋∞）空间上,研究了种群细胞增生中一类具非光滑边界条件的Rotenberg模型,讨论了这类模型相应的迁移算子的谱分析,证明了该迁移算子的本征值的存在性,得到了该迁移算子的谱在某半平面上仅由有限个具有限代数重数的离散本征值组成等结果.     

Approximation by complex szász-durrmeyer operators in compact disks

In the present paper, we deal with the complex Szász-Durrmeyer operators and study Voronovskaja type results with quantitative estimates for these operators attached to analytic functions of exponential growth on compact disks. Also, the exact order of approximation is found.

引入了拟绝对-*-k-仿正规算子,获得了拟绝对-*-k-仿正规算子的一个充要条件.并证明了拟绝对-*-k-仿正规算子在0≤k≤1上是有限上升的,作为此性质的应用,证明了若T是拟绝对-*-k-仿正规算子,其中0≤k≤1,则Weyl谱和本质近似点谱的谱映射定理成立.最后证明了若T是拟绝对-*-k-仿正规算子,其中0≤k≤1,则σ_(ja)(T)\{0}=σ_a(T)\{0}.
