method of Buckley and James (1979, Biometrika, 66, 429–436), but is, unlike the latter method, a noniterative procedure due to nonparametric preliminary estimation of the
conditional regression function. The asymptotic normality of the estimators is established. Simulations are carried out for
both methods and they show that the proposed estimators have usually smaller variance and smaller mean squared error than

FeCoNi-coated PMMA (FeCoNi@PMMA) core-shell structures prepared by an electroless plating process were investigated in this study. Further, we fabricated FeCoNi@PMMA in polydimethylsiloxane sheets with volume fractions of fillers from 10 vol% to 25 vol% to evaluate electromagnetic wave absorption performance. Subsequently, results were compared with those of carbonyl iron particles (CIP). The maximum reflection loss (RL) of FeCoNi@PMMA composite (25 vol%) reached a value of −37.2 dB at 12.2 GHz with a thickness of 1.5 mm and a broad absorption bandwidth (RL ≤ −10 dB) of 4.5 GHz, attributed to strong dielectric and magnetic losses. Though the microwave absorption performance of the core-shell structured FeCoNi@PMMA composites is similar to that of CIP composites, the weight fraction of FeCoNi@PMMA is reduced about 38% compared with CIP with the same volume fraction (25 vol%). These results indicate that FeCoNi@PMMA is a lightweight material and a good candidate for high-performance microwave-absorbing devices. 相似文献

The problem of bandwidth selection for non-parametric kernel regression is considered. We will follow the Nadaraya–Watson
and local linear estimator especially. The circular design is assumed in this work to avoid the difficulties caused by boundary
effects. Most of bandwidth selectors are based on the residual sum of squares (RSS). It is often observed in simulation studies
that these selectors are biased toward undersmoothing. This leads to consideration of a procedure which stabilizes the RSS
by modifying the periodogram of the observations. As a result of this procedure, we obtain an estimation of unknown parameters
of average mean square error function (AMSE). This process is known as a plug-in method. Simulation studies suggest that the
plug-in method could have preferable properties to the classical one.

在反射模式下,对于970 nm宽面积垂直腔半导体光放大器(VCSOA)的增益和带宽特性进行了实验研究和分析。当注入电流为57%阈值电流、信号输入功率为0.7 W,取得了24.8 dB的放大,测得的放大器的带宽为0.14 nm。实验中测量的增益值大于理论计算值,这是由于宽面积垂直腔光放大器内存在多个横向模式,每个模式都有相应的放大,所以总的增益大于理论计算的某个模式的增益。这种宽面积垂直腔光放大器不仅可以提高增益,而且还能提高信号光的饱和输入功率。对970 nm宽面积VCSOA的结构进行了优化设计,模拟结果表明,要提高半导体激光器的增益和带宽,可以通过适当降低垂直腔面发射激光器的上DBR的反射率来获得。 相似文献

语音带宽扩展是为了提高语音质量,利用语音低频和高频之间的相关性重构语音高频的一种技术。高斯混合模型法是语音带宽技术中被广泛应用的一种方法,但是,该方法的映射函数是分段线性函数,且没有考虑语音前后帧的相关信息。因此,提出了一种基于条件受限玻尔兹曼机的方法。该方法利用条件受限玻尔兹曼机提取了语音信号的帧间信息,同时将语音低频、高频特征参数映射为高阶统计特性,深层发掘和模拟了语音低频和高频之间的非线性关系。客观和主观对比测试结果都表明,该方法性能优于传统的高斯混合模型方法。 相似文献

In productivity analysis an important issue is to detect how external (environmental) factors, exogenous to the production process and not under the control of the producer, might influence the production process and the resulting efficiency of the firms. Most of the traditional approaches proposed in the literature have serious drawbacks. An alternative approach is to describe the production process as being conditioned by a given value of the environmental variables (Cazals, C., Florens, J.P., Simar, L., 2002. Nonparametric Frontier estimation: A robust approach. Journal of Econometrics 106, 1–25; Daraio, C., Simar, L., 2005. Introducing environmental variables in nonparametric Frontier models: A probabilistic approach. Journal of Productivity Analysis 24(1), 93–121). This defines conditional efficiency measures where the production set in the input × output space may depend on the value of the external variables. The statistical properties of nonparametric estimators of these conditional measures are now established (Jeong, S.O., Park, B.U., Simar, L., 2008. Nonparametric conditional efficiency measures: Asymptotic properties. Annals of Operations Research doi: 10.1007/s10479-008-0359-5). These involve the estimation of a nonstandard conditional distribution function which requires the specification of a smoothing parameter (a bandwidth). So far, only the asymptotic optimal order of this bandwidth has been established. This is of little interest for the practitioner. In this paper we fill this gap and we propose a data-driven technique for selecting this parameter in practice. The approach, based on a Least Squares Cross Validation procedure (LSCV), provides an optimal bandwidth that minimizes an appropriate (weighted) integrated Squared Error (ISE). The method is carefully described and exemplified with some simulated data with univariate and multivariate environmental factors. An application on real data (performances of Mutual Funds) illustrates how this new optimal method of bandwidth selection works in practice. 相似文献

In this Letter, the bandwidth resource allocation strategy is considered for traffic systems of complex networks. With a finite resource of bandwidth, an allocation strategy with preference parameter α is proposed considering the links importance. The performance of bandwidth allocation strategy is studied for the local routing protocol and the shortest path protocol. When important links are slightly favored in the bandwidth allocation, the system can achieve the optimal traffic performance for the two routing protocols. For the shortest path protocol, we also give a method to estimate the network traffic capacity theoretically. 相似文献
