Invex-convexlike functions and duality

We define a class of invex-convexlike functions, which contains all convex, pseudoconvex, invex, and convexlike functions, and prove that the Kuhn-Tucker sufficient optimality condition and the Wolfe duality hold for problems involving such functions. Applications in control theory are given.The author is grateful to Professor W. EXISTENCE OF GENERALIZED WEAKLY SOLUTIONS OF DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS IN PRODUCT SPACES

In this paper, by using Lyapunov function and weak noncompactness conditions, we give an existence theorem of generalized weakly solutions of Cauchy problem of differential equations in product spaces.     

Boundaries for algebras of holomorphic functions

Let A_u(B_G) be the Banach algebra of all complex valued functions defined on the closed unit ball B_G of a complex Banach space G which are uniformly continuous on B_G and holomorphic in the interior of B_G, endowed with the sup norm. A characterization of the boundaries for A_u(B_G) is given in case G belongs to a class of Banach spaces that includes the pre-dual of a Lorentz sequence space studied by Gowers in Israel J. Math. 69 (1990) 129-151. The non-existence of the Shilov boundary for A_u(B_G) is also proved.

Stability of a system of Volterra integro-differential equations

Using new and known forms of Lyapunov functionals, this paper proposes new stability criteria for a system of Volterra integro-differential equations.     

Linearized and rational approximation method for solving non‐linear Burgers' equation

A new numerical method called linearized and rational approximation method is presented to solve non‐linear evolution equations. The utility of the method is demonstrated for the case of differentiation of functions involving steep gradients. The solution of Burgers' equation is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the technique for the solution of non‐linear evolution equations exhibiting nearly discontinuous solutions. A RANDOM FIXED POINT ITERATION FOR THREE RANDOM OPERATORS ON UNIFORMLY CONVEX BANACH SPACES

In the present paper we introduce a random iteration scheme for three random operators defined on a closed and convex subset of a uniformly convex Banach space and prove its convergence to a common fixed point of three random operators. The result is also an extersion of a known theorem in the corresponding non-random case.     

Coercive boundary value problems for regular degenerate differential-operator equations

This study focuses on nonlocal boundary value problems (BVP) for degenerate elliptic differential-operator equations (DOE), that are defined in Banach-valued function spaces, where boundary conditions contain a degenerate function and a principal part of the equation possess varying coefficients. Several conditions obtained, that guarantee the maximal L_p regularity and Fredholmness. These results are also applied to nonlocal BVP for regular degenerate partial differential equations on cylindrical domain to obtain the algebraic conditions that ensure the same properties.     

含k-次增生算子的Ishikawa迭代的收敛性问题

主要研究了非线性方程x Tx=f的Ishikawa迭代解．其中T为k-次增生的或增生的，并在一致光滑和任意的实Banach空间分别研究了上述方程的带误差的Ishikawa迭代解，从而推广了已知的一些结果。     

A purely algebraic characterization of the hyperreal numbers

The hyperreal numbers of nonstandard analysis are characterized in purely algebraic terms as homomorphic images of a suitable class of rings of functions.
