We show that the action of Cremona transformations on the real points of quadrics exhibits the full complexity of the diffeomorphisms of the sphere, the torus, and of all non-orientable surfaces. All Hadamard 2-(63,31,15) designs invariant under the dihedral group of order 10 are constructed and classified up to isomorphism together with related Hadamard matrices of order 64. Affine 2-(64,16,5) designs can be obtained from Hadamard 2-(63,31,15) designs having line spreads by Rahilly’s construction [A. Rahilly, On the line structure of designs, Discrete Math. 92 (1991) 291-303]. The parameter set 2-(64,16,5) is one of two known sets when there exists several nonisomorphic designs with the same parameters and p-rank as the design obtained from the points and subspaces of a given dimension in affine geometry AG(n,pm) (p a prime). It is established that an affine 2-(64,16,5) design of 2-rank 16 that is associated with a Hadamard 2-(63,31,15) design invariant under the dihedral group of order 10 is either isomorphic to the classical design of the points and hyperplanes in AG(3,4), or is one of the two exceptional designs found by Harada, Lam and Tonchev [M. Harada, C. Lam, V.D. Tonchev, Symmetric (4, 4)-nets and generalized Hadamard matrices over groups of order 4, Designs Codes Cryptogr. 34 (2005) 71-87].  相似文献

We show that an automorphism of a unital AF C*-algebra with a certain approximate Rohlin property has the Rohlin property. This generalizes a result of Kishimoto. Using this we show that the shift automorphism on the bilateral C*-algebra associated with an aperiodic irreducible shift of finite type has the Rohlin property.  相似文献

For G a finite group,π_e(G) denotes the set of orders of elements in G.If Ω is a subsetof the set of natural numbers,h(Ω) stands for the number of isomorphism classes of finite groups withthe stone set Ω of element orders.We say that G is k-distinguishable if h(π_e(G))=k<∞,otherwiseG is called non-distinguishable.Usually,a 1-distinguishable group is called a characterizable group.Itis shown that if M is a sporadic simple group different from M_(12),M_(22),J_2,He,Suz,M~cL and O'N,then Aut(M) is characterizable by its element orders.It is also proved that if M is isomorphic toM_(12),M_(22),He,Suz or O'N,then h(π_e(Aut(M)))∈{1,∞}.  相似文献
