Investigating ego modules involved in TGFβ3-induced chondrogenesis in mesenchymal stem cells based on ego network

ObjectiveThis paper aimed to investigate ego modules for TGFβ3-induced chondrogenesis in mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) using ego network algorithm.MethodsThe ego network algorithm comprised three parts, extracting differential expression network (DEN) based on gene expression data and protein-protein interaction (PPI) data; exploring ego genes by reweighting DEN; and searching ego modules by ego gene expansions. Subsequently, permutation test was carried out to evaluate the statistical significance of the ego modules. Finally, pathway enrichment analysis was conducted to investigate ego pathways enriched by the ego modules.ResultsA total of 15 ego genes were obtained from the DEN, such as PSMA4, HNRNPM and WDR77. Starting with each ego genes, 15 candidate modules were gained. When setting the thresholds of the area under the receiver operating characteristics curve (AUC) ≥0.9 and gene size ≥4, three ego modules (Module 3, Module 8 and Module 14) were identified, and all of them had statistical significances between normal and TGFβ3-induced chondrogenesis in MSCs. By mapping module genes to confirmed pathway database, their ego pathways were detected, Cdc20:Phospho-APC/C mediated degradation of Cyclin A for Module 3, Mitotic G1-G1/S phases for Module 8, and mRNA Splicing for Module 14.ConclusionsWe have successfully identified three ego modules, evaluated their statistical significances and investigated their functional enriched ego pathways. The findings might provide potential biomarkers and give great insights to reveal molecular mechanism underlying this process.     

Module Arens regularity for semigroup algebras

We extend the concept of Arens regularity of a Banach algebra to the case that there is an -module structure on , and show that when S is an inverse semigroup with totally ordered subsemigroup E of idempotents, then A=ℓ ¹(S) is module Arens regular if and only if an appropriate group homomorphic image of S is finite. When S is a discrete group, this is just Young’s theorem which asserts that ℓ ¹(S) is Arens regular if and only if S is finite. An erratum to this article can be found at     

Some Properties of Artin-Rees Modules and Rings

The class of Artin-Rees modules is large.It contains modules satisfying (accr).In this paper, we investigate such modules and show that some properties of modules satisfying (accr) can be generalized to modules of this class.     

Canonical Tilting Modules Over Shod Algebras are Regular in Codimension One

We show that for a class of modules over shod algebras, including the canonical tilting modules, the closures of the corresponding orbits in module varieties are regular in codimension one.     

Tomography of functional organization in protein-protein interaction network

In recent years, after high throughput PPI data was available, studies have focused on unraveling how proteins organize their functionality from architecture of the PPI network. We examine the functional organization of a PPI network by dividing the network into layered structure around a protein according to shortest path length. We proposed an index, functional correlation, to assess the functional closeness of a specific protein with its l layer neighbors, i.e. proteins having l shortest path length from the center protein. Our results showed that functional correlation decays exponentially with the number of layers within a characteristic length l_c, and it becomes uncorrelated outside such a characteristic length. A simple model based on functional unit structure was proposed to explain this exponential decay of functional correlation.     

Volatile Perovskite Precursor Ink Enables Window Printing of Phase-Pure FAPbI3 Perovskite Solar Cells and Modules in Ambient Atmosphere

Despite the great success of perovskite photovoltaics in terms of device efficiency and stability using laboratory-scale spin-coating methods, the demand for high-throughput and cost-effective solutions remains unresolved and rarely reported because of the complicated nature of perovskite crystallization. In this work, we propose a stable precursor ink design strategy to control the solvent volatilization and perovskite crystallization to enable the wide speed window printing (0.3 to 18.0 m/min) of phase-pure FAPbI₃ perovskite solar cells (pero-SCs) in ambient atmosphere. The FAPbI₃ perovskite precursor ink uses volatile acetonitrile (ACN) as the main solvent with DMF and DMSO as coordination additives is beneficial to improve the ink stability, inhibit the coffee rings, and the complicated intermediate FAPbI₃ phases, delivering high-quality pin-hole free and phase-pure FAPbI₃ perovskite films with large-scale uniformity. Ultimately, small-area FAPbI₃ pero-SCs (0.062 cm²) and large-area modules (15.64 cm²) achieved remarkable efficiencies of 24.32 % and 21.90 %, respectively, whereas the PCE of the devices can be maintained at 23.76 % when the printing speed increases to 18.0 m/min. Specifically, the unencapsulated device exhibits superior operational stability with T₉₀>1350 h. This work represents a step towards the scalable, cost-effective manufacturing of perovskite photovoltaics with both high performance and high throughput.     

On nonsingular modules over infinite-dimensional simple novikov algebra of characteristic 0

In this paper we show that an A-module is a direct sum of a trivial module and a nosingular module, and we also give the structure of nonsingular module over infinite dimensional simple Novikov algebras of types (II) and (III) over a field F of Characteristic 0.     

三维正交机织复合材料的力学性能研究

利用材料试验机装置开展了三维正交机织Kevlar/乙烯基树脂复合材料力学实验,实验表明面内经向拉伸和厚度z方向压缩时,材料具有一定的应变率效应,厚度z方向压缩强度远大于面内压缩强度,而面内经向和纬向的拉伸强度则相当.结合纤维的编织方式,对这些现象做了必要的定性分析.最后,本文基于三维正交机织复合材料的结构特点,推导了一组可用于估算三维正交机织复合材料弹性模量的公式,估算结果和实验值接近.
