φ凹(-φ凸)算子不动点定理及其应用

讨论了φ凹(-φ凸)算子,得到了φ凹增(-φ凸减)算子不动点存在唯一性结果,并且给出了收敛到该不动点的迭代序列.该结果去掉了以往文献中的φ→0(t→0~+)这一条件,从而改进和推广了相关结果.作为应用,给出了一类的Sturm-Liouville边值问题的正解的存在唯一性结果.     

Real Hypersurfaces Having Many Pseudo-hyperplanes

Abstract

Let nand dbe natural integers satisfying n ≥ 3 and d ≥ 10. Let Xbe an irreducible real hypersurface Xin ? ⁿ of degree dhaving many pseudo-hyperplanes. Suppose that Xis not a projective cone. We show that the arrangement ? of all d ? 2 pseudo-hyperplanes of Xis trivial, i.e., there is a real projective linear subspace Lof ? ⁿ (?) of dimension n ? 2 such that L ? Hfor all H ∈ ?. As a consequence, the normalization of Xis fibered over ?¹in quadrics. Both statements are in sharp contrast with the case n = 2; the first statement also shows that there is no Brusotti-type result for hypersurfaces in ? ⁿ , for n ≥ 3.     

Convex solutions of the Schröder equation in Banach spaces

The problem of the existence and uniqueness of increasing and convex solutions of the Schröder equation, defined on cones in Banach spaces, is examined on a base of the Krein-Rutman theorem.

Backward stochastic differential equations with reflection and weak assumptions on the coefficients

In this paper, we study reflected BSDE’s with one continuous barrier, under monotonicity and general increasing conditions in y$y$ and non-Lipschitz conditions in z$z$. We prove the existence and uniqueness of a solution by an approximation method.     

Quickest online selection of an increasing subsequence of specified size

Given a sequence of independent random variables with a common continuous distribution, we consider the online decision problem where one seeks to minimize the expected value of the time that is needed to complete the selection of a monotone increasing subsequence of a prespecified length n. This problem is dual to some online decision problems that have been considered earlier, and this dual problem has some notable advantages. In particular, the recursions and equations of optimality lead with relative ease to asymptotic formulas for mean and variance of the minimal selection time. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 半序度量空间中公共二元随机重合点定理及其应用

在完备可分的半序度量空间中,引入了随机映射对(F,G)关于g随机半序弱增以及(F,G)随机半序弱增的定义,研究了在满足一定非线性压缩条件下的随机映射列F_k:Ω×X×X→X,k=1,2…,g:Ω×X→X和h:Ω×X→X的公共二元随机重合点与公共二元随机不动点问题,所得结果推广了已有文献中的一些不动点定理.     

含间断项的非线性Volterra型积分方程正解的唯一存在性

本文利用含间断项增算子不动点定理讨论了一类非线性Volterra型积分方程正解存在唯一性.在解存在性准则中取消了函数连续性限制,在较弱条件下得到了正解存在唯一性定理.

本文研究一类在球内的非线性椭圆奇异边值问题的正解的存在性,推广了Ｈ．Ｕｓａｍｉ１９８９年所得到的部分结果
