Der Geometriefaktor von radioaktiven umschlossenen oder offenen Strahlenquellen hängt bei der Messung mittels einer Kernstrahlungsmeßsonde von der räumlichen Anordnung der Strahlenquelle zu der strahlenexponierten wirksamen Fläche des Detektors und von der Geometrie der Strahlenquelle selbst ab. Fūr punktförmige Strahler in verschiedenen Positionen, Geraden, Kreisflächen und Zylinder wurde in möglichst einheitlicher Vorgehensweise die Berechnung der Geometriefaktoren bezüglich kreisförmiger ebener Detektionsflächen vorgenommen und rechentechnisch in Form von BESM 6-Algolprogrammen realisiert. Die Berechnungsergebnisse sind untereinander konsistent und wurden möglichst durch unabhängige Verfahren oder experimentelle Werte kontrolliert. An approximate method is developed to solve the full nonlinear equations governing two-dimensional irrotational flow in a free waterfall, falling under the influence of gravity, at high Froude number based on conditions far upstream. Schwarz—Christoffel transformation is used to map the region, in the complex potential-plane, onto the upper half-plane. The Hilbert transformation as well as the perturbation technique, for large Froude number, are used as a basis for the approximate solution of the problem. A complete solution, up to second-order approximation, for the downstream free-surfaces profiles, for different Froude number, is discussed and illustrated. The obtained approximate solutions are compared with those of other authors. Favourable agreement with other results suggests that this method is effective in dealing with flow problems strongly influenced by gravity and high Froude number. The results obtained by this method are sufficiently accurate for practical purposes. 相似文献

Asymptotic expansions of certain finite and infinite integrals involving products of two Bessel functions of the first kind are obtained by using the generalized hypergeometric and Meijer functions. The Bessel functions involved are of arbitrary (generally different) orders, but of the same argument containing a parameter which tends to infinity. These types of integrals arise in various contexts, including wave scattering and crystallography, and are of general mathematical interest being related to the Riemann—Liouville and Hankel integrals. The results complete the asymptotic expansions derived previously by two different methods — a straightforward approach and the Mellin-transform technique. These asymptotic expansions supply practical algorithms for computing the integrals. The leading terms explicitly provide valuable analytical insight into the high-frequency behavior of the solutions to the wave-scattering problems. 相似文献

We derive and analyse four algorithms for computing the current induced on a thin straight wire by a transient electric field.
They all involve solving the thin wire electric field integral equations (EFIEs) and consist of a very accurate differential
equations solver together with various schemes to approximate the vector potential integral equation. We carry out a rigorous
numerical stability analysis of each of these methods. This has not previously been done for solution schemes for the thin

We survey the rate conservation law, RCL for short, arising in queues and related stochastic models. RCL was recognized as one of the fundamental principles to get relationships between time and embedded averages such as the extended Little's formulaH=G, but we show that it has other applications. For example, RCL is one of the important techniques for deriving equilibrium equations for stochastic processes. It is shown that the various techniques, including Mecke's formula for a stationary random measure, can be formulated as RCL. For this purpose, we start with a new definition of the rate with respect to a random measure, and generalize RCL by using it. We further introduce the notion of quasi-expectation, which is a certain extension of the ordinary expectation, and derive RCL applicable to the sample average results. It means that the sample average formulas such asH=G can be obtained as the stationary RCL in the quasi-expectation framework. We also survey several extensions of RCL and discuss examples.
