用乘法半群上的线性方程组来求解晶体原子间对势反演的逆问题.这种方法是解决此类问题的一般性方法.本文还给出了一个计算实例.     

超Poincare不等式在Lp空间上的推广及应用

该文建立了L^p(μ )空间上的超Poincare不等式,得到了L^p(μ) 上半群的半紧性和紧性的充要条件及相应的扰动结果,同时给出超Poincare不等式成立的一个充分条件,推广了L²(μ )$上的相关结论.作为应用,文中最后讨论了黎曼流形上一类非对称扩散算子的本质谱.     

On free semigroups of automaton transformations

It is established that the subset of freek-generated subsemigroups of the semigroup of all automaton transformations over a finite alphabet is a second category set (in the sense of the Baire category approach) in the set of allk-generated subsemigroups. A continuum series of pairs of automaton transformations each of which generates a free semigroup of rank two is indicated. Matrix semigroup homomorphisms into higher dimensions

We study non-degenerate irreducible homomorphisms from the multiplicative semigroup of all n-by-n matrices over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero to the semigroup of m-by-m matrices over the same field. We prove that every non-degenerate homomorphism from the multiplicative semigroup of all n-by-n matrices to the semigroup of (n + 1)-by-(n + 1) matrices when n ? 3 is reducible and that every non-degenerate homomorphism from the multiplicative semigroup of all 3-by-3 matrices to the semigroup of 5-by-5 matrices is reducible.     

Qualitative analysis for a cross-diffusion model of forest

The existence of a bounded global attractor for a cross-diffusion model of forest with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition is proved under some condition on the parameters Project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 19671005).     

On the Stieltjes moment problem on semigroups

We characterize finitely generated abelian semigroups such that every completely positive definite function (a function all of whose shifts are positive definite) is an integral of nonnegative miltiplicative real-valued functions (called nonnegative characters).

Lyapunov and Dynamical Spectra for Banach State-spaces

We study the Lyapunov exponents and exponential splittings for continuous linear skew-product flows acting on infinite dimensional Banach state-spaces.     

Derivative Estimates of Semigroups and Riesz Transforms on Vector Bundles

We use versions of Bismut type derivative formulas obtained by Driver and Thalmaier [9], to prove derivative estimates for various heat semigroups on Riemannian vector bundles. As an application, the weak (1,1) property for a class of Riesz transforms on a vector bundle is established. Some concrete examples of vector bundles (e.g., differential forms) are considered to illustrate the results.     

Characterizations of Clifford semigroup digraphs

This paper characterizes directed graphs which are Cayley graphs of strong semilattices of groups and, in particular, strong chains of groups, i.e. of completely regular semigroups which are also called Clifford semigroups.
