AN AFFINE SCALING INTERIOR ALGORITHM VIA CONJUGATE GRADIENT PATH FOR SOLVING BOUND-CONSTRAINED NONLINEAR SYSTEMS

In this paper we propose an affine scaling interior algorithm via conjugate gradient path for solving nonlinear equality systems subject to bounds on variables. By employing the affine scaling conjugate gradient path search strategy, we obtain an iterative direction by solving the linearize model. By using the line search technique, we will find an acceptable trial step length along this direction which is strictly feasible and makes the objective func- tion nonmonotonically decreasing. The global convergence and fast local convergence rate of the proposed algorithm are established under some reasonable conditions. Furthermore, the numerical results of the proposed algorithm indicate to be effective.     

Representations of affine Hecke algebras and based rings of affine Weyl groups

In this paper we show that the Deligne-Langlands-Lusztig classification of simple representations of an affine Hecke algebra remains valid if the parameter is not a root of the corresponding Poincaré polynomial. This verifies a conjecture of Lusztig proposed in 1989.

     

基于DSP＋USB2．0的激光雕刻切割机高速数据传输的研究

采用高速DSP芯片TMS320F2812和USB2．0接口芯片CY7C68001来解决激光雕刻切割机控制系统数据传输中的低速问题。介绍了系统的硬件连接及软件实现。通过实际测试证明，USB2．0接口的实际数据传输速度最高可达200Mbps，完全可以满足激光雕刻切割机控制系统高速、实时传输的要求；同时利用USB总线对整个系统进行了有效地扩展。     

A portfolio-based evaluation of affine term structure models

We focus on affine term structure models as tools for active bond portfolio management. Our financial exercise comprises the following steps: 1) forecast the future values of the state variables implied by several multi-factor models; 2) approximate the conditional moments of the state vector to come up with discrete scenarios for the future state variables 3) compute bond returns for various maturities at future dates from the theoretical asset pricing relations 4) solve the portfolio problem faced by an investor with a six month horizon who takes into account the possibility to rebalance after one quarter. The sequence of optimal portfolios is evaluated in terms of financial properties. We show that a financial based evaluation of term structure models may yield results conflicting with those obtained from a statistical evaluation.     

Stability of affine coalescence hidden variable fractal interpolation functions

The stability of an affine coalescence hidden variable fractal interpolation function is proved in a general set up in the present work, by establishing that any small perturbation in the generalized interpolation data leads to a small perturbation in the corresponding affine coalescence hidden variable fractal interpolation function.     

Free field realizations of the elliptic affine Lie algebra

In this paper we construct two free field realizations of the elliptic affine Lie algebra where . The first realization provides an analogue of Wakimoto’s construction for Affine Kac–Moody algebras, but in the setting of the elliptic affine Lie algebra. The second realization gives new types of representations analogous to Imaginary Verma modules in the Affine setting.     

Another Free Boson Representation of Yangian Double DYħ(slN) with Arbitrary Level

We derive a free boson representation of the Yangian double DY_ħ(sl_N) with arbitrary level k by the observation that there is a correspondence between the q-affine algebra and Yangian double associated with the same Cartan matrix. Vertex operator and screening currents cannot be obtained in the same way. From this point of view, the Yangian double with centre cannot be regarded as the degenerated case of the quantum affine algebra.     

A new affine invariant for polytopes and Schneider's projection problem

New affine invariant functionals for convex polytopes are introduced. Some sharp affine isoperimetric inequalities are established for the new functionals. These new inequalities lead to fairly strong volume estimates for projection bodies. Two of the new affine isoperimetric inequalities are extensions of Ball's reverse isoperimetric inequalities.

     

Array realization of complex-source beam

An array is constructed to radiate the far-field pattern of a single complex point source. For any nonzero error tolerance, the physical dimension of the array is smaller (sometimes much smaller) than the diameter of the branch-cut disk of the complex point source. The inverse source problem is formulated for non-resonant arrays with reactive zones that do not extend significantly beyond the physical dimensions of the array. Both time-harmonic and pulsed beams are considered. In numerical examples, each array element consists of real point sources in an end-fire configuration.     

Set-theoretic complete intersections on binomials

Let be an affine toric variety of codimension over a field of any characteristic. We completely characterize the affine toric varieties that are set-theoretic complete intersections on binomials. In particular we prove that in the characteristic zero case, is a set-theoretic complete intersection on binomials if and only if is a complete intersection. Moreover, if are binomials such that , then . While in the positive characteristic case, is a set-theoretic complete intersection on binomials if and only if is completely -glued.

These results improve and complete all known results on these topics.
