用激活性非线性介质Nd：MgO：LiNbO3产生二次谐波

以Nd:MgO:LiNbO_3同时兼作激活介质和非线性光学材料,研究自倍频激光器。用小型氙灯泵浦,在室温下获得二次谐波激光(0.547μm) 阈值小于4.8'J,最大输出400μJ/shot,工作温度范围大于20℃～45℃,无光损伤。     

A diffusion approximation result for two parameter processes

Summary We consider a one-dimensional linear wave equation with a small mean zero dissipative field and with the boundary condition imposed by the so-called Goursat problem. In order to observe the effect of the randomness on the solution we perform a space-time rescaling and we rewrite the problem in a diffusion approximation form for two parameter processes. We prove that the solution converges in distribution toward the solution of a two-parameter stochastic differential equation which we identify. The diffusion approximation results for oneparameter processes are well known and well understood. In fact, the solution of the one-parameter analog of the problem we consider here is immediate. Unfortunately, the situation is much more complicated for two-parameter processes and we believe that our result is the first one of its kind.Partially supported by ONR N00014-91-J-1010     

On a generalized $L_2$ projection and some related stability estimates in Sobolev spaces

Summary. In this paper we investigate a stability estimate needed in hybrid finite and boundary element methods, especially in hybrid coupled domain decomposition methods including mortar finite elements. This stability estimate is equivalent to the stability of a generalized projection in certain Sobolev spaces. Using piecewise linear trial spaces and appropriate piecewise constant test spaces, the stability of the generalized projection is proved assuming some mesh conditions locally. 微微秒自动调谐参量激光的研究

采用一对MgO:LiNbO_3角度调谐覆盖了红近外波段0.7～2.2μm,并配以自动波长扫描。文中分析了影响脉冲宽度与线宽的因素,与实验结果相吻合。脉宽<30ps,线宽～1nm(简并波长附近～10nm),单脉冲峰功率达MW级,参量光总能量转换效率达5.4％。     

Coupling for Markov renewal processes and the rate of convergence in ergodic theorems for processes with semi-Markov switchings

The dynamics of water in small volumes probed by incoherent quasi-elastic neutron scattering

Summary The dynamics of water molecules occupying very small volumes can be probed by incoherent quasi-elastic neutron scattering. We summarise some results obtained with wet samples of porous silica and hydrated proteins. The movements of the molecules in the vicinity of the substrate are extremely reduced as compared to those of bulk water at the same temperature. Almost only rotational movements subsist and the local diffusion is of the order of that observed in deeply supercooled water. A supraconvergent scheme for the Korteweg-de Vries equation

Summary A finite-difference method for the integration of the Korteweg-de Vries equation on irregular grids is analyzed. Under periodic boundary conditions, the method is shown to be supraconvergent in the sense that, though being inconsistent, it is second order convergent. However, such a convergence only takes place on grids with an odd number of points per period. When a grid with an even number of points is used, the inconsistency of the method leads to divergence. Numerical results backing the analysis are presented.     

A graph theory approach to subcontracting, machine duplication and intercell moves in cellular manufacturing

We address in this paper the problem of finding an optimal strategy for dealing with bottleneck machines and bottleneck parts in the cell formation process in group technology. Three types of economic decisions are considered: subcontracting, machine duplication and intercell moves. The problem is formulated as a minimum weighted node covering problem in a hypergraph, and we show that it can be solved in polynomial time by finding a maximum weighted stable set in a bipartite graph. We extend this result to cellular manufacturing systems in which the sequence of operations of each part is known in advance.
