赫兹对阴极射线的实验研究及其重要影响

根据赫兹的日记、书信、文集及相关文献,对赫兹所进行的阴极射线的实验研究工作进行了仔细考察,指出他对阴极射线的一系列实验研究为揭示阴极射线的全部特性奠定了重要基础,对勒纳德和汤姆孙在这一领域的研究产生了直接影响．     

A noncommutative geometric approach to left-right symmetric weak interactions

By combining the generalized exterior algebra of forms over a noncommutative algebra with the gauging of discrete directions and the associated Higgs fields, we consider the construction of the bosonic sector of left-right symmetric models of the form SU(2) _L SU(2) _R U(1). We see that within this formalism maximal use can be made of the gauge connection associated with the noncommutative graded algebra.     

Inhomogeneous quantum groups and their quantized universal enveloping algebras

The quantum group IGL _q (N), the inhomogenization of GL _q (N), is formulated with -matrices. Theq-deformed universal enveloping algebra is constructed as the algebra of regular functionals in this formulation and contains the partial derivatives of the covariant differential calculus on the quantum space.     

Pressure-Induced Shifts of R1 and R2 Lines of YAG:Cr3+

By means of improved ligand-field theory, the "pure electronic" pressure-induced shifts (PS's) and the PS's due to electron-phonon interaction (EPI) of R1 line and R2 line of YAG:Cr3 have been calculated, respectively.The calculated results are in very good agreement with the experimental data. It is demonstrated that the admixture of |t22(3T1)e4T2> and |t322E> bases in the wavefunction of R1 level of YAG:Cr3 and its change with pressure play a key role for the PS of R1 line. The behaviors of the "pure electronic" PS of R1 line and the PS of R1 line due to EPI are different. It is the combined effect of them that gives rise to the total PS of R1 line, which has satisfactorily explained the experimental results. The systematic analyses and comparisons between the feature of R1-line PS of YAG:Cr3 and the ones of three laser crystals (GSGG:Cr3 , GGG:Cr3 and ruby) have been made, and the origin of the difference between them has been revealed.     

Structure comparison between Th2Zn17-type and TbCu7-type Sm–Fe intermetallic compounds and their nitrides by means of 57Fe-Mössbauer spectroscopy

Samarium–iron intermetallic compounds were prepared by a melt spinning method with low and high wheel speeds, which resulted in a Th₂Zn₁₇-type and a TbCu₇-type structure, respectively. Structure comparison between these types was investigated for Sm–Fe intermetallic compounds and their nitrides by ⁵⁷Fe-Mössbauer spectroscopy.     

R410A在水平内螺纹管中沸腾换热实验研究

对于非共沸混合制冷剂R410A在外径9.52mm、5mm的两种不同的几何参数的内螺纹的流动沸腾换热进行了实验研究,分析讨论了制冷剂质量流速、管外水流量变化、强化管的参数、强化管的压降对换热系数影响以及其机理。试验的结果表明:换热系数随着流量的增大而增大,管径的大小对换热系数的影响较大,在相同的流量下,9.52mm的换热系数比5mm的大到110%~230%,5mm管的压降比9.52mm的大200%~300%。     

Scaling in the bombay stock exchange index

In this paper we study Bombay stock exchange (BSE) index financial time series for fractal and multifractal behaviour. We show that BSE index time series is monofractal and can be represented by a fractional Brownian motion.     

Hyperfine Spectroscopy with Nuclear Resonant Scattering of Synchrotron Radiation

Since its observation in 1985 nuclear resonant scattering of synchrotron radiation has become an excellent tool to study hyperfine interactions in solids. It combines the advantages of both local probe experiments and scattering techniques and gives valuable information on magnetic and electronic structures in case of NFS experiments. Experiments benefit from the outstanding beam quality of 3rd generation synchrotron radiation sources, as the small beam size and divergence. This revised version was published online in August 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.     

R717双蒸发温度回路三级混流制冷系统的研究设计

基于降低初投资、节约能源、与环境友好及符合国情的原则,从制冷剂选用和制冷系统构成两个方面,探究"超低温"冷库制冷系统的设计方案和适用技术路线,完成了以天然工质氨为制冷剂,双蒸发温度回路三级混流制冷系统的可行性研究及其关键设备的开发设计,并以此建造了具有-30℃和-60℃库温,库容分别为30吨和200吨双冷间的"超低温"实验冷库。试运行半年,完全达到设计要求,已通过山东省科技厅专家组技术鉴定。     

WALL CONDUCTION EFFECT ON THE ONSET OF THERMAL INSTABILITY IN HORIZONTAL RECTANGULAR CHANNELS

The effect of peripheral thermal conduction in the bottom wall on the onset of thermal instability in the thermal entrance region of horizontal, rectangular, bottom-uniform-heated channels was studied by experiment and theoretical simulation. The predicted results of the onset of thermal instability for the cases of uniform peripheral wall heat flux are in agreement with the published experimental data, but the predicted results for the cases of uniform peripheral wall temperature exceed the previous data by about an order of magnitude. The present experimental data reconfirm the present predictions. The effect of increasing the peripheral wall conduction is shown to stabilize the flow.
