Polster and Steinke [Result. Math., 46 (2004), 103–122] determined the possible Kleinewillingh?fer types of flat Laguerre planes. These types reflect transitivity
properties of groups of certain central automorphisms. We exclude three more types from the list given there with respect
to Laguerre homotheties. This yields a complete determination of all possible single types with respect to Laguerre homotheties
that can occur in flat Laguerre planes. Building on results by M?urer and Hartmann to characterize ovoidal or miquelian Laguerre
planes we further characterize certain flat Laguerre planes in terms of their Kleinewillingh?fer types.

The conditions for achievement of high resolving power of depth selective conversion electron Mössbauer spectroscopy method at a combined installation ‘electron spectrometer–nuclear gamma-resonance spectrometer’ have been obtained. There has been made a considerable step in development of the method at its realization at a magnetic sector electron spectrometer with double focusing, equipped with electron source (a sample under investigation) of large-area and position-sensitive detector. The paper presents a prospective symmetrical version of a magnetic sector electron spectrometer that allows realizing more completely possibilities of the method. It is noted that the proposed method is particularly valuable for investigations of nanosystems, nanostrutures that contain Mössbauer nuclei. 相似文献

A colourless quartz crystal doped with 57Fe3+ was obtained by hydrothermal synthesis in an NH4F solution. The crystal was transformed into violet amethyst by gamma-irradiation. The change in colour was accompanied by changes in the Mössbauer spectrum that can be interpreted as the conversion of trivalent iron into the tetravalent state: Fe3+→Fe4+.

Multilinear interpolation is a powerful tool used in obtaining strong-type boundedness for a variety of operators assuming only a finite set of restricted weak-type estimates. A typical situation occurs when one knows that a multilinear operator satisfies a weak Lq estimate for a single index q (which may be less than one) and that all the adjoints of the multilinear operator are of similar nature, and thus they also satisfy the same weak Lq estimate. Under this assumption, in this note we give a general multilinear interpolation theorem which allows one to obtain strong-type boundedness for the operator (and all of its adjoints) for a large set of exponents. The key point in the applications we discuss is that the interpolation theorem can handle the case q?1. When q>1, weak Lq has a predual, and such strong-type boundedness can be easily obtained by duality and multilinear interpolation (cf. The motivation for this paper is an interesting observation made by Plonka concerning the factorization of the matrix symbol associated with the refinement equation for B-splines with equally spaced multiple knots at integers and subsequent developments which relate this factorization to regularity of refinable vector fields over the real line. Our intention is to contribute to this train of ideas which is partially driven by the importance of refinable vector fields in the construction of multiwavelets. The use of subdivision methods will allow us to consider the problem almost entirely in the spatial domain and leads to exact characterizations of differentiability and Hölder regularity in arbitrary L p spaces. We first study the close relationship between vector subdivision schemes and a generalized notion of scalar subdivision schemes based on bi-infinite matrices with certain periodicity properties. For the latter type of subdivision scheme we will derive criteria for convergence and Hölder regularity of the limit function, which mainly depend on the spectral radius of a bi-infinite matrix induced by the subdivision operator, and we will show that differentiability of the limit functions can be characterized by factorization properties of the subdivision operator. By switching back to vector subdivision we will transfer these results to refinable vectors fields and obtain characterizations of regularity by factorization and spectral radius properties of the symbol associated to the refinable vector field. Finally, we point out how multiwavelets can be generated from orthonormal refinable bi-infinite vector fields. 相似文献

Summary. We present a simple proof, based on modified logarithmic Sobolev inequalities, of Talagrand’s concentration inequality for
the exponential distribution. We actually observe that every measure satisfying a Poincaré inequality shares the same concentration
phenomenon. We also discuss exponential integrability under Poincaré inequalities and its consequence to sharp diameter upper
bounds on spectral gaps.
