We prove the existence of solution for a class of ‐Laplacian equations where the nonlinearity has a critical growth. Here, we consider two cases: the first case involves the situation where the variable exponents are periodic functions. In this paper we deal with the hyponormality of Toeplitz operators with matrix‐valued symbols. The aim of this paper is to provide a tractable criterion for the hyponormality of bounded‐type Toeplitz operators (i.e., the symbol is a matrix‐valued function such that Φ and are of bounded type). In particular, we get a much simpler criterion for the hyponormality of when the co‐analytic part of the symbol Φ is a left divisor of the analytic part.  相似文献

In 1996 I.Kh. Sabitov proved that the volume of a simplicial polyhedron in a 3-dimensional Euclidean space is a root of certain monic polynomial with coefficients depending on the combinatorial type and on edge lengths of the polyhedron only. Moreover, the coefficients of this polynomial are polynomials in edge lengths of the polyhedron. This result implies that the volume of a simplicial polyhedron with fixed combinatorial type and edge lengths can take only finitely many values. In particular, this yields that the volume of a flexible polyhedron in a 3-dimensional Euclidean space is constant. Until now it has been unknown whether these results can be obtained in dimensions greater than 3. In this paper we prove that all these results hold for polyhedra in a 4-dimensional Euclidean space.  相似文献

We prove that if a pair of weights (u,v)(u,v) satisfies a sharp ApAp-bump condition in the scale of all log bumps or certain loglog bumps, then Haar shifts map Lp(v)Lp(v) into Lp(u)Lp(u) with a constant quadratic in the complexity of the shift. This in turn implies the two weight boundedness for all Calderón–Zygmund operators. This gives a partial answer to a long-standing conjecture. We also give a partial result for a related conjecture for weak-type inequalities. To prove our main results we combine several different approaches to these problems; in particular we use many of the ideas developed to prove the A2A2 conjecture. As a byproduct of our work we also disprove a conjecture by Muckenhoupt and Wheeden on weak-type inequalities for the Hilbert transform. This is closely related to the recent counterexamples of Reguera, Scurry and Thiele.  相似文献

We investigate iterations of fixed-point free holomorphic self-maps on a Lie ball of any dimension, where a Lie ball is a bounded symmetric domain and the open unit ball of a spin factor which can be infinite dimensional. We describe the invariant domains of a holomorphic self-map f on a Lie ball D when f   is fixed-point free and compact, and show that each limit function of the iterates (fn)(fn) has values in a one-dimensional disc on the boundary of D  . We show that the Möbius transformation gaga induced by a nonzero element a in D may fail the Denjoy–Wolff-type theorem, even in finite dimension.
