Synthesis of novel derivatives of 2-(azolylimino)thiazoline

Successive alkylation of 5-(3-phenylthioureido)-3H-imidazole-4-carboxamides with alkyl halides and chloroacetone gave (N-oxopropylimidazolyl)isothioureas, which were easily converted into derivatives of purine and imidazopyrazinone. In the case of ethyl 5-(3-phenylthioureido)-3H-imidazole-4-carboxylate, primary alkylation occurs at the N atom of the imidazole ring. Reactions of 5-(3-phenylthioureido)-3H-imidazole-4-carboxamides with haloketones afforded a number of 4-hydroxy-2-imidazolyliminothiazolidines and 2-imidazolylimino-Δ⁴-thiazolines.__________Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. <Emphasis Type="Italic">Ab initio</Emphasis> study of small coinage metal telluride clusters Au<Subscript>n</Subscript>Te<Subscript>m</Subscript> (<Emphasis Type="Italic">n,m</Emphasis> = 1, 2)

The geometries of the most stable isomers of gold telluride systems AuTe, Au₂Te, and AuTe₂ are determined using the MP2 method. The aspect of gold—telluride interaction, the electron correlation, and relativistic effects on geometry and stability are investigated at the MP2 and CCSD(T) theoretical levels. The results show that the electron correlation and relativistic effects are responsible not only for gold—gold attraction but also for additional gold—telluride interaction. The gold—telluride interaction is strong enough to modify the known pattern of bare gold clusters. Both effects are essential for determining the geometry and relative stability of this type of systems.     

Synthesis and biological activity of novel 2-(3-trifluoromethylphenoxy)-4-trifluoromethylthiazole-5-carboxamide derivatives

Novel 2-(3-trifluoromethylphenoxy)-4-trifluoromethylthiazole-5-carboxamides were designed and synthesized utilizing ethyl 3-amino-4,4,4-trifluoro-2-butenoate as a starting material via six steps. Subsequently, their biological activities were evaluated in the greenhouse. Results indicated that several compounds have some insecticidal or fungicidal activity at 600 g ai/ha and 300 g ai/ha, respectively.     

Determination of Copper at a Glassy Carbon Electrode Modified with Langmuir–Blodgett Film of p‐tert‐Butylthiacalix[4]arene

A new type of voltammetric sensor, Langmuir–Blodgett film of p‐tert‐butylthiacalix[4]arene modified glassy carbon electrode, was advanced and used for determining copper at trace levels by differential pulse stripping voltammetry. Calibration plot was found to be linear in the range of 2×10^?8 M to 5×10^?6 M; the detection limit was 2×10^?9 M. Possible recognition mechanism was also discussed. From determination of Copper in real samples (river, lake and tap water) it can be concluded that the method is rapid, sensitive in determining of copper and can be used in the analysis of natural water samples.     

Oxidation of Stereo‐regular Poly(styrene‐co‐4‐methylstyrene) by Cobalt(II) Acetate Tetrahydrate/Sodium Bromide Catalyst

Chemical modification on the stereo‐regular poly(styrene‐co‐4‐methylstyrene) (sPS‐PMS) was attempted in this study. Metallocene copolymerization of styrene (St) and 4‐methylstyrene (MSt) was performed by using η⁵‐pentamethylcyclopentadienyl‐titanium(IV)tributoxide (Cp*Ti(OBu)₃)/methylaluminoxane (MAO)/tri‐iso‐butylaluminum (TIBA) catalyst in the bulk state. Cobalt(II) catalyst was then applied to oxidize the benzylic methyl group on the MSt units of the resulting sPS‐PMS copolymer. Both aldehyde and carboxylic acid in the oxidized products were resolved by the FTIR and ¹H NMR. The oxidized sPS‐PMSs exhibit a low and a high‐temperature T_g and T_m corresponding to the transitions in the amorphous and the crystalline regions. Hydrogen‐bond and polar interactions between the aldehyde and carboxylic acids tend to interrupt the regular chain packing of the oxidized sPS‐PMS, resulting in the lowering of T_m with oxidation level. The oxidized sPS‐PMS showed better adhesion to glass fiber than pure sPS‐PMS copolymer as evaluated from the respective SEM fractured micrographs.     

2-苯基苯并咪唑衍生物非线性光学性质的从头算研究

采用HF／6-31G^*方法优化分子构型，在此基础上用CPHF方法系统地研究了多种基团取代的2-苯基苯并咪唑衍生物的二阶非线性光学系数βvec，并对βvdc的影响因素进行了探讨，为进一步设计综合性能优良的有机非线性光学材料提供理论指导．     

Novel chemical modifications at the 4-position of chromones. Synthesis and reactivity of 4H-chromene-4-spiro-5′-isoxazolines and related compounds

Reactions of chromones with dilithiooximes proceed via nucleophilic 1,2-addition to give, on acidification, 4H-chromene-4-spiro-5′-isoxazoline derivatives in high yields. On treatment with concentrated H₂SO₄ the isoxazoline ring of this novel spiroannulated heterocyclic system opens to give α,β-unsaturated oximes, which undergo nitrosation, bromination, and the Beckmann rearrangement to the corresponding spiroisoxazolines and α,β-unsaturated amides, respectively. The latter can be obtained directly by the Beckmann rearrangement of 4H-chromene-4-spiro-5′-isoxazolines.     

铁电极上硫脲及衍生物的缓蚀作用研究

用极化曲线方法测定了硫酸溶液中硫脲及其衍生物的浓度变化对铁腐蚀电化学行为的影响，获得了腐蚀电位下缓蚀剂对阴极和阳极过程的作用系数，用ＥＨＭＯ方法对硫脲及其衍生物的结构参数进行了量化计算，分析表明，缓蚀剂对阴极和阳极过程作用系数的大小与这些参量有密切关系。     

膦化聚2,6—二甲基1,4—苯醚负载钯催化剂的表征及其催化性能

报道了四种不同P/Pd摩尔比的膦化聚2,6-二甲基1,4-苯醚负载把催化剂的加氢和异构化性能;通过XPS、电镜和远红外对催化剂进行了表征;并考察了溶剂和温度对催化剂活性的影响.     

纳米SrTiO3对高铁酸盐电化学性能影响研究

Two ferrates, K₂FeO₄ and BaFeO₄, had been prepared and characterized by XRD, IR and SEM. The electrochemical tests of the samples were carried out in the voltage range of 0.8～2.0 V and current density of 0.5～3.0 mA·cm^-2. The results indicated that performance of Zn-BaFeO₄ battery was superior to that of Zn-MnO₂ and Zn-K₂FeO₄ batteries. Nanometer SrTiO₃ prepared by Sol-gel methode with different ratio was added to the BaFeO₄ cathode in order to improve the discharge performance. The discharge capacity of the BaFeO₄ cathode was increased from 224 mAh·g^-1 to 246 mAh·g^-1 by addition of 5% nanometer SrTiO₃. The reason of enhancing BaFeO₄ electrochemical performance was discussed.
