We present the current-reversal spectra of the high pressure Na-Hg-Xe and Na-Cd-Xe lamps, from which the specific NaHg and NaCd structured continua have been observed. Detailed analysis revealed the existence of additional structure in the case of NaCd and NaHg blue diffuse bands. In the NaHg case the neighbourhood of the 330 nm sodium line revealed two satellite bands of NaHg origin, but almost no structure around the 330 nm sodium atomic line was found in the case of Na-Cd-Xe discharge lamp. 相似文献

In this paper, we are concerned with the global existence and stability of a steady transonic conic shock wave for the symmetrically perturbed supersonic flow past an infinitely long conic body. The flow is assumed to be polytropic, isentropic and described by a steady potential equation. Theoretically, as indicated in [R. Courant, K.O. Friedrichs, Supersonic Flow and Shock Waves, Interscience Publishers, Inc., New York, 1948], it follows from the Rankine-Hugoniot conditions and the entropy condition that there will appear a weak shock or a strong shock attached at the vertex of the sharp cone in terms of the different pressure states at infinity behind the shock surface, which correspond to the supersonic shock and the transonic shock respectively. In this paper we consider a nonlinear strongly damped wave equation as a model for a controlled spring–mass–damper system and give some results concerning its large time behaviour. It can be seen that the infinite dimensional system admits a two-dimensional attracting manifold where the equation is well represented by a classical nonlinear oscillations ODE, which can be exhibited explicitly.
