We study biwave maps and equivariant biwave maps. We obtain the formulations for equivariant biwave maps into various spaces by applying eigenmaps between spheres. We compute the biwave fields of inclusions into warped product manifolds and construct examples of biwave maps. We introduce zero-dimensional proximities and show that the poset 〈Z(X),?〉 of inequivalent zero-dimensional compactifications of a zero-dimensional Hausdorff space X is isomorphic to the poset 〈Π(X),?〉 of zero-dimensional proximities on X that induce the topology on X. This solves a problem posed by Leo Esakia. We also show that 〈Π(X),?〉 is isomorphic to the poset 〈B(X),⊆〉 of Boolean bases of X, and derive Dwinger's theorem that 〈Z(X),?〉 is isomorphic to 〈B(X),⊆〉 as a corollary. As another corollary, we obtain that for a regular extremally disconnected space X, the Stone-?ech compactification of X is a unique up to equivalence extremally disconnected compactification of X. 相似文献

In 1999, Romaguera and Schellekens introduced the theory of dual complexity spaces as a part of the development of a mathematical (topological) foundation for the complexity analysis of programs and algorithms [S. Romaguera, M.P. Schellekens, Quasi-metric properties of complexity spaces, Topology Appl. 98 (1999) 311-322]. In this work we extend the theory of dual complexity spaces to the case that the complexity functions are valued on an ordered normed monoid. We show that the complexity space of an ordered normed monoid inherits the ordered normed structure. Moreover, the order structure allows us to prove some topological and quasi-metric properties of the new dual complexity spaces. In particular, we show that these complexity spaces are, under certain conditions, Hausdorff and satisfy a kind of completeness. In this paper, we investigated the electrochemical and surface behavior of hydroxyapatite (HA)/Ti films on the nanotubular Ti-35Nb-xZr alloy. The Ti-35Nb-xZr ternary alloys with 3-10 wt.% Zr content were made by an arc melting method. The nanotubular oxide layers were developed on the Ti-35Nb-xZr alloys by an anodic oxidation method in 1 M H3PO4 electrolyte containing 0.8 wt% NaF at room temperature. The HA/Ti composite films on the nanotubular oxide surfaces were deposited by a magnetron sputtering method. Their surface characteristics were analyzed by field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and an X-ray diffractometer (XRD). The corrosion behavior of the specimens was examined through potentiodynamic and AC impedance tests in 0.9% NaCl solution. From the results, the Ti-35Nb-xZr alloys showed a solely β phase microstructure that resulted from the addition of Zr. The nanotubular structure formed with a diameter of about 200 nm, and the HA/Ti thin film was deposited on the nanotubular structure. The HA/Ti thin film-coated nanotubular Ti-35Nb-xZr alloys showed good corrosion resistance in 0.9% NaCl solution. 相似文献

A continuous zero-selection f for the Vietoris hyperspace F(X) of the nonempty closed subsets of a space X is a Vietoris continuous map f:F(X)→X which assigns to every nonempty closed subset an isolated point of it. It is well known that a compact space X has a continuous zero-selection if and only if it is an ordinal space, or, equivalently, if X can be mapped onto an ordinal space by a continuous one-to-one surjection. In this paper, we propose a new nonmonotone Armijo type line search and prove that the MBFGS method proposed by Li and Fukushima with this new line search converges globally for nonconvex minimization. In this paper, the discontinuous Galerkin method for the positive and symmetric, linear hyperbolic systems is constructed and analyzed by using bilinear finite elements on a rectangular domain, and an O(h2)-order superconvergence error estimate is established under the conditions of almost uniform partition and the H3-regularity for the exact solutions. The convergence analysis is based on some superclose estimates derived in this paper.
