Roots,iterations and logarithms of formal automorphisms

In this paper it is proved that having a logarithm is equivalent to having roots of arbitrary order in the group of automorphisms of a formal power series ring, and in algebraic subgroups too     

Determination of NAD(P)H by A Bioluminescent Enzyme Fiber Optic Probe

Abstract

A fiber optic probe was interfaced to a photon counting system for the determination of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide reduced [NAD(P)H] by a bioluminescence method. The reagents employed in a bacterial luciferase/flavin mononucleotide /decanal system were optimized. Attempts were made to increase the quantum yield of the system. Dodecanal, tridecanal, and tetradecanal were evaluated as alternative aldehyde reagents for decanal, and hydrogen peroxide was added to the system. Neither attempt increased the quantum yield of the system. However, a relatively low detection limit of 1.6 × 10^?9 M for NAD(P)H was obtained with a linear dynamic range of 3.8 orders of magnitude. These results demonstrate the sensitivity of this instrumentation and assay.     

Luminescence in LiNaSO4:Eu phosphor

Abstract

LiNaSO₄: Eu is a recently discovered thermoluminescence dosimetry (TLD) phosphor which is more sensitive than the widely used CaSO₄:Dy. In this paper results are reported on TL glow curves, TL emission spectra and PL photoluminescence. These measurements help to understand the role of impurity and the mechanism of thermoluminescence in this phosphor.     

A *-product on SL(2) and the corresponding nonstandard (\mathfrak{s}\mathfrak{l}({\text{2}}))

We obtain Zakrzewski's deformation of Fun SL(2) through the construction of a *-product on SL(2). We then give the deformation of dual to this, as well as a Poincaré basis for both algebras.Aspirant au Fonds National belge de la Recherche Scientifique. Quantum groups and diagonalization of the braid generator

It is shown that the braid generator is diagonalizable on arbitrary tensor product modules V V, V an irreducible module for a quantum group. A generalization of the Reshetikhin form for the braid generator is thereby obtained in the general case. As an application, a general closed formula is determined for link polynomials.     

Serre-type relations for special linear Lie superalgebras

It is pointed out that, for m, n 2, the naive Serre presentation corresponding to the simplest Cartan matrix of sl(m, n) does not define the Lie superalgebra sl(m, n) but a larger algebra s(m, n) of which sl(m, n) is a nontrivial quotient. The supplementary relations for the generators are found and the definition of the q-deformed universal enveloping algebra of sl(m, n) is modified accordingly.     

ICP-AES测定铜合金中的铜及10种杂质元素

建立了ICP-AES同时测定铜合金中铜及杂质元素磷、硅、锰、铁、镍、钴、锌、铅、铝、锡11种元素的分析方法,通过对样品溶解方法、元素分析谱线的选择和仪器分析参数进行试验比较,确定了实验条件,并对铜合金标准样品进行了精密度和回收率实验.结果表明,相对标准偏差小于3.0％,回收率在90％-110％之间.该方法快速简便,准确度高,可以满足日常检验的分析要求.
