A method to prepare multi-particle entanglement of Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger-type and W-type is proposed through the interaction between the cavity and many atoms simultaneously . After suitable interaction, the selected measurements on the cavity field can create the entangled atomic states. These entangled states can be useful for quantum information manipulation and fundamental study of quantum theory. These states that violate the Bell‘s inequality are proven. 相似文献

Recently, a generalization of Laughlin‘s wave function expressed in Haldane‘s spherical geometry is con-structed in 4D quantum Hall effect. In fact, it is a membrane wave function in CP3 space. In this article, we use non-Abelian Berry phase to anaJyze the statistics of this membrane wave function. Our results show that the membrane wave function obeys fractional statistics. It is the rare example to realize fractional statistics in higher-dimensiona space than 2D. And, it will help to make clear the unresolved problems in 4D quantum Hall effect. 相似文献

This paper calculates the lifetime of resonant state andtransmission probability of a single electron tunnelling in aspherical quantum dot (SQD) structure by using the transfer matrixtechnique. In the SQD, the electron is confined both transversallyand longitudinally, the motion in the transverse and longitudinaldirections is separated by using the adiabatic approximation theory.Meanwhile, the energy levels of the former are considered as theeffective confining potential. The numerical calculations are carried outfor the SQD consisting of GaAs/InAs material. The obtained results show that thebigger radius of the quantum dot not only leads significantly to the shiftsof resonant peaks toward the low-energy region, but also causes thelengthening of the lifetime of resonant state. The lifetime of resonantstate can be calculated from the uncertainty principle between the energyhalf width and lifetime. 相似文献

Polarization switching (PS) dynamics and synchronizationperformances of two mutually coupled vertical-cavitysurface-emitting lasers (VCSELs) are studied theoretically inthis paper. A group of dimensionless rate equations is derivedto describe our model. While analysing the PS characteristics,we focus on the effects of coupling rate and frequency detuningregarding different mutual injection types. The results indicatethat the x-mode injection defers the occurrence of PS, whilethe y-mode injection leads the PS to occur at a lower current.Strong enough polarization-selective injection can suppress thePS. Moreover, if frequency detuning is considered, the effectsof polarization-selective mutual injection will be weakened. Toevaluate the synchronization performance, the correlationcoefficients and output dynamics of VCSELs with both pure modeand mixed mode polarizations are given. It is found thatperformance of complete synchronization is sensitive to thefrequency mismatch but it is little affected by mixed modepolarizations, which is opposite to the case ofinjection-locking synchronization. 相似文献

We propose a scheme for preparing four-particleGreenberger--Horne--Zeilinger states using two identical bimodalcavities, each supports two modes with different frequencies.
